It has nothing to do with the sex at all, but the scammers' reactions. He supports the ones who did it for non-malicious reasons (like Alyx/Dani, who wanted a woman to fall in love with her as a man so that they could accept her that way face-to-face) and tries to help the relationship, which is built on a true emotional connection, blossom. It is the ones who are only screwing with the victim, getting their jollies that he gets angry with. I agree 100% with Katie...you are making a very disparaging remark about someone based on inconsistent date and an extremely small sample size.

I have to disagree with you big time on this one. Have you seen all of the episodes? if there really was "reoccurring sexism" with Max, he would've went off on "Abby" in the fifth episode, but he didn't ... so already your theory doesn't hold up. Plus, you're making a pretty bias selection in an already extremely small sample size.. Aside from Episode 1, there really hasn't been anyone acting so cold as Rose did.. Rose was practically asking for it by how she acted so cold and unsympathetic. (Episode 4 had a really cold catfisher but the catfisher had a real vengeance motive, and therefore was unlike all the other ones and I can't categorize that with the others due to very different circumstances... plus, watch the end of episode 4, where Max basically praises the catfisher in the end, who is a woman btw... so that also opposes your theory)
