What's great about this video is it's video angles and the lighting to cast different shadows. The dance is crazy too. They made a black and white effect without using the black and white effect. That's genius. They had the beyonce and her dancers put something on it to have it look like a different color or tone.

The video won because it was an amazing video!! The song had a message: If you don't wanna make a commitment, then don't get upset when I leave!! The video cost a hell of alot of money to make,her outfit is amzing,her makeup just freakin looks expensive,and the angle the video was shot in probably took more than 6 camera's to pulloff! I'm proud of this video and even though some women won't admit it, she said what you were thinking! The video deserved every award (and more) it got!!

Anyone who says this video sucks and is only about ass shaking has obviously never tried dancing in unison with three other people for that long. U think you could do it? I didnt think so. Pure talent on their part (people involved in the video)

For those who don't understand why this video won: You can't possibly imagine how much work that kind of filming demands. Multiple cameras, multiple digital passes to make all the camera blend together (without anybody noticing!) Incredible render...clearly, all put together (with choreography, make up, styling, post-production), this one is a monster !!!! They use technologies used for the 300 movie. Would not be surprised to hear that it costed more than a couple hundred thousand dollars to produce!...

The video maybe simple but the statement she makes is strong. This video is no more graphic than half the movies that are made these days. She is only using what God gave her. As for what she did for Taylor Swift at the VMA awards was classy and respectful of another artist and entertainer. Taylor Swift is also an amazing artist BOTH Beyonce and Taylor needed to be commended for their abilities to entertain even the most critical of people. As Madonna clearly stated in her speech about MJ "They are ALL still HUMAN". So take a moment to think what you might have to do or how you may have to move to sell a video, movie, or music? She did an awesome job with the movements and I think she may have double jointed hips..LOL.

Hay que resaltar que BeyoncĂŠ es toda una artista y un gran ser humano. Su detalle en los mtv cn Taylor swift fue muy elegante y definitivamente lamuestra como una mujer muy centrada y muy segura de lo que es. Felicidades por toos tus premios y por tu carrera exitosa. Shakira y BeyoncĂŠ son las artistas mĂĄs importantes del momento (aunque por el momento algunos esten atravesando una grave crisis y sigan viendo al monumento al mal gusto que es la ta lady gaga).
