it was extremely sad to hear of his death, and myself being a recovering iv drug user can relate to the pain and anguish this awesome and so very talented band sings about. i extend my sympathies to his family and remaining band members, never should a human being have to endure so much pain

Am I the only person who thinks that Layne Stanley usedto be cute? But seriously though, it's a damn shame. All of these brilliant guys' deaths marked the end of the grunge period(Kurt Cobain, Layne, ect..). It sucks that it had to end that way :( I geuss it kinda explained their music though...
