I think that was like the first real club beat. And now a lot of club music uses that same beat.

This is like the biggest break record of all time. It makes you bug out when you listen to it! Look at those costumes they'd wear before RunDMC made it acceptable to wear something you might wear to school. But I'd have to say that the song itself is bigger than the video. I think some1 told me it was the most used track in hiphop?, and back then most rap vids were mostly only concert footage.
Pretty cool song from back in the breakdancing days. Sampling the track "Trans Europe Express" from Kraftwerk was brilliant.
