Katie is a high school senior with dreams of studying psychology in Denver, but her pregnancy forces her to put aside her aspirations and establish a stable life for her young family.
Getting an epidural is far from being selfish. I hope you've learned more about it in the last year and are less ignorant and judgmental about it.
Eww! Shes soo annoying!! All she does is whine, but then again he does need to step his game up and love/care for her like a MAN SHOULD FOR HIS BM!!
she complains. stop complaing and be there 4 your man
She was over dramatic and stupid with her BF. She should have talked to him more and tried harder to work it out before running off to her mommy's house. SMH
Im so srry for your loss, My cuz lost her son to SIDS at 4 weeks..
i lived in wyoming to it suck got out fast
Brianne it might be your browser because it wouldnt play for me on Safari and i jus switched to Opera and it works now.
I am so sorry for your loss. My sister had a baby at 14 an she had a hard time as well but she did have tons of help. This has nothing to do with the show but I too lost a baby to sids so my heartgoes out to you.
i got pregnant at 18 too. and i really thought it would be wasy. but balancing everything was so hard just like her... but unlike her my son passed away from sids.
actually having A doctoral degree can be in several fields not just medicine
I truly hate when they worry about what their friends are doing the only main thing they need to focus on is their baby forget what their friend's are doing. Have a brand new life with a new baby that's all that matters
You can do it!! Look into labor positions and things like midwives and doulas (even if you don't actually use them). And remember, your body is DESIGNED to give birth. You can do it! :)
However, on this show there is hardly ever a representation of natural childbirth or anything close. I feel sad to see all these girls just laying on their backs while they labor and give birth. There are SO many better choices as far as positioning! It is no wonder they have epidurals and difficult labors. I am glad that they at least showed a slightly different scenario here. I'd love to see an even more mother-centered (rather than doctor-centered) labor and delivery on 16 and Pregnant!
I dont think she is really asking for anything just trying to talk with him since he is the only one who understands the sacrafice they gave up for molli and I think as long as she understands that nothing is going to be to her plan I wish I could spend more time with my hunny too but thats not the way life works sometimes...
No, its to show girls how it really is and to try and take steps in life like you're supposed to be, which means to not have a baby at 16
I gave my daughter up for adoption when I was sixteen. It is a REALLY open adoption, but it still took me a very long time to make it through a day without breaking down and crying. I still have a hard time with it. So I can see why she didn't just do adoption. At least she's not giving up on her life though..
My best friend lived with her boyfriend in his house for a while, and she never got pregnant. Her mom probably thought that since she had such high goals, she wasn't going to go get pregnant..
she made giving birth naturally look so easy!000ahope i can do it. i absolutely do not want the epidural.
Is this show suppose to scare girls out of having babies and sex?
Letting your 16-year-old daughter go live with her boyfriend? Is her mother a moron? What did she expect would happen? So much for Dr. Katie!
