Every teen i have been haearing is saying mom didn't help or how they have no help at home. Im sorry when you make a adult decision to have sex,know how babies are made but don't protect your self and become pregnant you need to step up and take resonability for the outcome. No one forced you to have sex. As matter as fact if you can not use protection or use birth control right teens shouldn't even be in a relationship. Is there any mom's above the age of 20 that would agree

I'm a full time college student and I work in a grocery store part time. More then half of my coworkers get a assistance from the state, and continue to make bad decisions. They even joke about how great it is to basically get free money just because they had a kid. I could tell you so many stories that would make you sick, and from what I hear my situations and experiences with these types of people are not unique. I'm not saying that nobody deserves help, but the majority of people abuse the system and choose not to better themselves.

well, you must be perfect! you do realize that "us tax payers" INCLUDES those that receive assistance. you should do some research... you cannot get financial assistance unless you are working. if not you must be looking for work, have documentation to prove so that equals like 30+ hours a week. not everyone is so privileged to be able to afford things like health insurance etc. with out supplemental assistance. you should thank god for your life, don't judge until you have walked in their shoes, or at least learn to be a little more open minded. food stamps and medicaid are a different story, but as i said, not everyone is so privileged. it is hard to make ends meet. why not give children the best. besides, america bailed out the industries and HELLO that is WELFARE!! oh godly tax payer :P

I dont believe she actually found it funny. I think it was more of a laughing of nervousness. I couldnt imagine have my childs father talk to me like that. Luckily, I'm married to my childs father lol

Taylor was too funny when she said "If you have to ask some bum off the street for a condom, ask some bum off the street for a condom." Lol Also, on a more serious matter, when Dr. Drew was talking to Jennifer she said that Josh would have in jail and raped. She kinda chuckled a little. There's nothing funny about that. I think that Allie was right to leave when Joey started slacking off. Lots of people argue that she could've done more but she talked to him about it twice. What more could she have done? People also say that this show promotes teen pregnant. Um where!? Because I have seen tears, struggles, heartbreak and regrets. It shows girls how hard it is if anything. So anyone who thinks that teenage girls are getting pregnant because of this show is an idiot.

The show is good to show other teens how hard it truely is to be a teen mom but they dont show the whole story because they pay these moms to do the show so they dont really talk abot government assisting wic program etc. because they get quite a bit of money to do the show

I like all the ******* in these comments who say " STOP COMPLAINING I DID IT ALL ON MY OWN!". Um excuse me, but getting financial assistance from the government or any other organization is not ALL ON YOUR OWN. Don't pretend you could afford everything you needed for you and your baby without help from us tax payers. its people like you who make me sick.

I got pregnant at 16 so i know where all of you are coming from but 20 yrs later still married to my kids father. One of my sons live here on his own and my youngest is in the military. So there is happy endings whether u stay with the baby's father or not . We had our ups and downs but we are still together and love each other very much. Lisa from New Bedford, MA
