my name is kandis mckenzie i too got pregant at 16 i had two kids by time i graduated from high school in 1988 by the time turned 21 i had four kids it was hard but i made it now i have four grown kids ive been bless with five grandbabies if i had it to do all over again i wouldnt change a thing so hang in there girls you can do it stay strong

at first this show was cool and now it lik you girls are jus lost and how do you get on t.v and your momma didn't kno you wher pregnat...who gives consent then.....bt ne who i enjoyed kianna bt you need to think your bd is only 15 what can he do???? i understand the fact that he4 wnts his son for personal reasons but in reality he didn't need him. @Brina I think that adoption is a great option. Babies born to young mothers are more likely to be abused neglected, live in poverty, its statically proven. It takes more then money to raise a child, you have to be mentally ready. I was a young mom and i raised my child, but i also have given up a baby for adoption and i am very involved in his life and it was the best choice at the time. I wish i could have raised him but at the time i made the best choice for HIM, I commend anyone who gives their baby up for adoption, its a hard choice but its also a great one!!! great job on raising your baby. takes a lot of effort

I loved this episode. My life relates so much to her's. I was 17 & ma boyfriend was 15, he had to give up basketball b/c he wanted to take care of his son. My father is a single black man who said alot of the things as here mom. This was one of the best episodes to me !

First of all kudos to Kianna's Mom. She is a strong black woman and seems to be an excellent Mom. Single parenting is hard. She overcame many obstacles and is there for her daughter. Yes Kianna made a poor choice but look how they are working to overcome the obstacles. Kianna and Zak are doing a pretty good job for where they are at. Bottom line is they are very young with a child. gonna be tough. I hope these young people will rise above the hardships and make the best of this tough situation. I also hope Kianna achieve her goals in life. BTW, their baby is so handsome. He looks just like Zak.
