What people don't seem to understand is that in the real world, you pay rent! If you are going to act like an adult, have a kid, etc....then instead of playing house - they need to learn to support themselves. I wonder what these kids would do if they saw the prices of REAL apartments.Yes, $300 is a lot to live with your mom. But, it is completely acceptable to expect them to help with the household bills. Most of you want to let this girl get free ride through life, while the rest of us are required to deal with these bills everyday. So what if she just had a kid. It was their choice, now they need to suck it up and be responsible. (PS. As per the$60 left, they need to get on food stamps and/or WIC.)

I do agree that it's so terrible for her mother to sit there & Demand 300$ from her boyfriend when all his money goes towards the baby. She wasn't there for her the whole pregnancy & I just think she was terrible that isn't support and thank god her boyfriend stayed by her side because if not she would have been one lonely girl. But i do also agree that the girl should have not got pregnant if she knew that her mom was like that and also knowing they didn't have enough money to support her ,Wish them luck (:

Bless this poor girl!! Her mother is a sorry excuse for a parent!! She hasn't done 1 thing that I can see to help her child. Seems as though she's intentionally done just the opposite. Makes one wonder if she has a drug problem or something (that she claims to need money for). She's basically saying he needs to go full-time at work and she doesn't care if her daughter gets her education or not! She's shameful!

I hate that these idiots at the public schools say a G.E.D. makes you somehow less capable of succeeding. They're so full of crap! I said ***** it to high school, got my G.E.D. and started at a tier one university at 17. I graduated with a 4.0 and have started my own successful business. It's the PERSON not the piece of paper!

I like how this episode shows things a mother should not do. Telling ur daughter to pay $500 in rent knowing shes going to struggle just taking care of her son.

her mother is ridiculous! "oh you'll be fine by yourself, you'll get into a routine" the day after they bring the baby home?! my mom was 30 when she had me & even she had my grandmother come & help fer 2 weeks & i was her SECOND child!! this woman is the biggest moron ive ever seent! take care of your daughter!! whos anorexia only seems to get worse the more her mother rejects her!! DUH!!! -_-

The mother is an idiot. Putting her boyfriend ahead of her daughter, then asking for rent right after the baby is born. What a selfish jerk. She doesn't deserve to have a daughter.

Its hard to stop thinking about it. When you have to look down and see it. and go out. and all you thought about before was people thinking you were fat. and then all you think when you're big and bloated is "what if people don't know i'm pregnant, what if they think I'm a lard!?" and then on top of that people stare all the time. and they arent secretive or shy about it. they just STARE. thats one thing I hate about being pregnant is people always stare down at your stomach like it's an alien.
