Markai opens up to SuChin Pak about her moments of depression, before and after giving birth.
this was a really good interview
james knows his color if he wants to act that way then let him. NOT ALL white people are nice and proper and NOT ALL black people are loud and ghetto. i hate people who stereotype.
yeah i completely agree with u. some dumb people have to learn hard.
To Rosalina: I disagree with your comment that they werenât supporting abortion. Are you sure you caught the same show?? The life after episode (forgot the exact title) âSTRESSED- abortion, showed the before & after of Markai having the abortion and conveyed abortion as something you simply get over. They also showed it very late 12 midnight or 1 am on holiday break when kids are up & usually watching television, sadly w/ out parent's supervision to guide & teach them through an episode like this...How clever MTV! :\ I'm pointing out more so the subtleties & 'indirect' ways the show was produced & edited to convey the 'pro-choice' (abortion) agenda. Dr. Drew reiterated to the young ladies on the panel including Markai THAT WERE CRYING- from abortions they had months & years ago that it's okay & they'll be fine. Really?! How does he know? He obviously doesn't. Teenagers/kids know abortion is an option they don't need abortion reinforced by a panel of -only girls who had abortions, who are -trying- to convince themselves it's okay, while Dr. Drew coaxes them into feeling fine about having an abortion. The show made the procedure seem like another day's activity, so again I disagree that they are not supporting/purporting abortion...if they want to show 'options', show women who outright hate the fact that they had an abortion, as well as those who almost went through with it but were enlightened & chose to keep their babies...run the whole gamut of views on each show so if weâre going to show options, especially if you donât want your show to appear bias & conniving.
Now I'm not buying this "I never thought it would happen to me" BS. Common sense: if you mess around with someone with no protection whatsoever chances are a baby will result from it. Duh this is freaking common sense here. I guess there really is such a thing as being young and stupid but that carelessness is inexcusable regardless of age. If you take on the responsibility of sex then you should be mindful of the consequences for both you and your partner. Bottom f***ing line.
also she was soo right about how important it is 2 have a father figure n a girls life normally wateva kinda traits she sees in her father or male figure growing up is most of the time what she'll look 4 in a man cuz i know i did
Glad that markai james and the baby r doing well shes a good mom
@ snooty.....Ive been married to him for three years im pretty sure we are ready for a baby and i have a job to so i can very well take care of my baby and also my husband was raised right and would never cheat on me and if you dont know anything about the oil field then let me just inform you that you spend a week with a bunch guys at the rig ( on location) in a bunk house and also he works with my brother so just because your jeleous of my life doesnt give you or anyone else a right to basically say that im a bad mom and have a failed marriage so you obviously have relationship issues you need to find yourself a nice gay guy and you have yourself a wonderful sex free relationship and stay out of other peoples relationships that are obviously perfect :D
At first I thought this show would be helpful to teenagers, to everyone for that matter. Showing us that overall, the cons -for the most part- outweigh the pros when having a baby in these couples reality show predicaments...Encouraging primarily teenagers, to wait on these big life decisions. However after watching tonight's airing with Markai's & James & her final decision to have an abortion of her second child I am truly hurt & I am livid with Dr. Drew, MTVâs show producer Morgan Freeman & all participating staff for purporting abortion & furthermore conveying as though abortion is just something you get over-eventually...*meanwhile Markai & the two guest young ladies on the follow-up show (along with most women, men having all their faculties, & especially a heart) continue to cry about (yet attempt- to justify) the decision months & years later, take note! ABORTION is NOT meant to be! So because a physician anesthetizes (numbs) you, where it physically "feels like nothing happened", that gives women a reason to âsimplyâ dust that consequence off their shoulder & keep it moving? That easy is what you want people to believe this approach is, Morgan Freeman/Dr. Drew/MTV? PAY ATTENTION TO ALL THE OTHER EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL (look it up), SPIRITUAL, & PSYCHOLOGICAL RAMIFICATIONS & TRAUMA these girls, women -still- & continue to go through (beside the hardânosed justifiers of whatever-I-do-is-right-in-my-eyes-so-iâll-stick-with-the-script-even-though-iâm-hurt, -so-I-donât-look-like-a-fool!). I'm outraged at this shows attempt to brainwash viewers directly & indirectly, that when life gets too hard as a result of our wrong decisions/mistakes, sweep the results under a blood stained rug...the blood that will be required of their hands for the desensitized, misinformed decision to kill a soul, life, their baby, that God (Yes, God...ârespectâ that!), brought cells together to create. These teenagers & people around the world are continuously being lied to, that they are somehow âjust disassembling cellsâ & "gently suctioning out cells". To dig a little deeper, who determines the inception of our soul, spirit & psyche? Doctors? No! Why do we allow doctors who donât have a cure for every disease, counselors who havenât successfully/correctly mediated (mainly refer for medication) all their patientsâ issues, to determine the fate of what they did not create? This shows plot keeps teetering between sharing/informing, "entertaining"(the drama that keeps viewers glued) while cunningly brainwashing & desensitizing viewers to the worst option for the unplanned pregnancies of this show, abortion. Viewers & show participants: don't be fooled by what appears to be "many" that SEEM to be fine with abortion, this is all a ploy to reel you in to jump on the bandwagon of masked murder (these shows are designed to make you feel like the outcast for innately thinking something's wrong with abortion. How? By exaggerating & playing up opposing views by emphasizing -bias- statistics & having naive/hard-nosed âintellectualâ show guests to "confirm" their convoluted view points). So when we make a mistake/unwise decision we should just discard the results & live like nothing ever happened...Really?? Dr. Drew??...Do you truly live carefree forever after aborting your child? Never. We're not designed to take abortion lightly for a reason...thatâs why you feel the guilt, shame, thatâs why you cry & are depressed when you think about it? That's your God consciousness telling you it is wrong not just society. However, know that in the midst of this you can find forgiveness & peace with God & yourself for that misinformed/unwise decision (He forgives the repentant Psalms 103:14, II Peter 3:9) & go on to live a better life than had you not repented, with a clear & God-guided conscience. All decisions, wise & unwise reap consequences (good & bad) and we learn from them how to not repeat some & how to build upon others. Be blessed & never take a show for face value, thereâs always an agenda, some to steer you in the right path & some to make you lose your entire ability to use your own mind & only to follow what appears to be right in manâs own eyes & not Godâs. To Markai & family, I pray you all continue to grow & progress as youâve expressed you are determine to do. Lengthy, I know. Excuse any typos, itâs late & it happens. :) Iâm sure only few will read this anyway, in this Sound-byte world. (While many atheists/nonbelievers/ungodly/âintellectualsâ...will probably continue to spew hate as usual. To you I say, whereâs the respect & tolerance- for another personâs belief & freedom of speech which you so adamantly require from everyone else?
they (markai and james)are so selfish how can you say your gonna kill one baby for the other how is their first child more important then this one she could have at least gave it to someone who would have loved it not murdered it and it is not a ball of cells at 6 weeks look it up its a baby she murdered her child and i think its horrible there showing abortion as an option if you dont want to get pregnant keep your legs closed if not take of what comes with it
I CANNOT STAND the dad in this episode. Saying, "Imma take care of mines," doesn't make you a father!! You're a LOSER cheater, NOT A MAN!
@kimmberly.....i think the baby is gods way of getting her focused she was saying how she use to be...u can tell that her child made her a stronger woman...i am sooo proud of her she is a living testimony..God Bless Her and her family
Markai you need to get counseling .....a baby is making you better. You should have gotten counseling for low self esteem since you did not care about your body.
great interview.
Black people are not the only people who acts like he does
@ Tina and just because I made a smarter decision than you by not having a kid I can't take care of don't get mad at you. It must get lonely when you're alone at home with that baby and you cant go anywhere. Your bf works a lot huh? Is all that time he at work, or in another ladys bed? I hope he doesnt lose his job...:-)
i think sixteen is too young to get pregnant. if it happens just learn form that. it is not easy taking care of a baby. if you can try your best to use protection. you guys have your whole life ahead of you. Make the most time in putting your education first.
Markai should have forgiven him after all he cheated that one time way back at the beginning of thier relationship when things were not established yet.As long as he did not recently cheat on her.Let him be the father he needs to be and also be there for her too.
I am glad that Isaiah stood by his wife on her decision not to get a dna test done. How dare his grandma demend a Dna test to be done when she was not there on the day the baby was concieved. I would have walked out to. Christinna don't have nothing to prove or justify to his family. Isaiah sister is two faced she smile in Christinna face yet when the family was talking about Christinna she told her brother he can tkae care of the baby but not hee. So wrong. she need to mind her own business. Let him take care of his family. His family is haters.
Ok so just because your a 20 year old virgin and you cant get any doesnt give you or anyone else a right to call anyone loose, so shut up and go get a vibrater
