This guy is a terrible person, having sex with a naive, young, pretty girl unprotected and then asks like a jerk, "i dont want to be with you" once she tells him shes pregnant~disgusting!! I believed she lied in this after show interview about the birth control as some pointed out she said completely different statements in the show

My opinion about Valerie: She came accross as a young girl who's focus was on this jerk of a guy. He basically disclaimed her through-out the entire show. I dont think the reason for it was because he was scared he was going to be a father. He showed her no respect. I dont even know if they were in a RELATIONSHIP or just having SEX. Neither one of them really talked about a relationship. She has has GREAT potential, and should take this experience as a stepping stone, and make the best of it(: GOOD LUCK HUN>

This should be a big wakeup call to all the parents who think it's cute to let their kids have relationships before they're ready. There is just no reason for people to play grown when in the end something as serious as a child can happen. Expecting girls and boys to be men is a big mistake. I wish her well but she clearly was trying way too hard. At her age her focus should have been on school not boys.

I have to disagree more about the show.It is a show that shows how hard it is to be a teen mom and it also shows that most of the boys will not stick around to help and be a father.Maybe it will show that the guys that r jerks it will show other girls how he really is and may think twice b4 having sex.

If u think about it birth control and condoms r both forms of birth control.Condoms don't always work cause they can break at any moment,and if u carry a condom in ur wallet or leave them in the heat in a glove department they r more likely to break.The best thing to do is not to have sex at all.What I don't understand is why r kids wanting to have sex at such a early age.You have alot of time to have sex,and relations.All teenaged boys r after 1 thing and u know what that is,and when they get u pregnant it is so easy for them to just up and leave u there w/a baby.Think about what u do and just be 100% sure that he is going to be there 4 u and the baby.

Protected Sexir means Condoms. LOL Not birth control. Anyway I was kinda shocked how well this girl took care of her baby and wasn't whining about how hard it was to have a baby at 15 ! I mean half the girls I have seen are 17 and she's 2 years younger then her ! Wow. She seemed very mature for her age. I hate that they guy isn't stepping up. This girl is so pretty too. Maybe she should audition for America's next top model haha !

i loved this episode, but i have to call her out. she says she was on birth control.....when in her episode of 16 and pregnant she even told her friend it was unprotected and she had expected her guy to bring something up since he was more experienced. then she was arguing with him on the phone telling him when he said something about a DNA test, that 'we had sex a lot and it was unprotected'. bahahahaha.

I think all you wanted was to trap him. I once was 16 and prego. I dont this is a good show because its showing 16 year olds to go out there get prego and you might be on T.V good job this is soooo much fun! You guys have no idea how hard its going to get.

parenting is hard at any age ..it take s a lot of sacrifice.u r doing a good job with ur daughter i do hope though that being a mom now gives u more appreciation for your own mom cause i too didn't like the way u spoke to her.soooooo happy things r woking out with nevaeh's dad.ur role in her life is a big one she will look at u for guidance so be mindfull of the choices u make,,almost all of ur decisions will affect her in one way or another.seek God's guidance ...he never fails u...peace out ...bless

This young girl strunk me in a lot of ways and one was her innability to draw a real connection between herself and her own adoptive parents- they appeared to be so casual. This young lady did not seem to have any real connections between even her brothers and sisters in the house that were shown on camera either. Now, that said, it is clear how she showed and still shows an emotional immaturity when it comes to the father of her child- afterall he is the only person in her life that she has been able to choose, and not been placed there by unseen forces. Valerie- if your adoptive parents are willing to assist you in caring for your daughter you need to take advantage of that in a possitive way- Get a diploma and get yourself into college as fast as you can! Your story reaked of a young girl in need of self discovery. Your inexperience in life is evident in your empty persuits for Nevaeh's father to play the father role and be apart of the "family-fantasy" that even you know in your conscious mind is not going to happen. (DO NOT BE ASHAMED OF HAVING TRIED- it is only natural for mothers to want the father to be involved and active in family life.) However with the outcome you have had you must gently let go. I think if given the chance to find your true self, through educaution and worldly experience- you can do yourself and your daughter justice beyond your wildest dreams. Start laying a strong foundation for that beautiful daughter of yours and stay STONG!
