Senate Republicans Are the Best Ever at Doing Nothing

After Antonin Scalia's passing left a seat empty on the Supreme Court, Republicans in the Senate said they would not consider any nominee put forward by President Obama and would instead wait until we had a new president. While the Senate has a history of dragging out confirmations a little, this was an unprecedented move. It turns out that's just one example of how Senate Republicans have been blocking as many Obama appointments as they can throughout his entire presidency.
