How do I find the lyrics to a song by my favorite artist?
Your best bet may be to check out the artist’s official Web site or another fan site. Also, song lyrics are often included in the booklet that accompanies a CD or cassette tape.

I know the title/lyrics to a song, but I don’t know the artist. Can you help me?
MTV only allows its members to search the database by entering the artist’s name or by song/album title. If you know the song or album title, try entering it in the search box at the top of any page.

How do I find other MTV.com members that like similar artists/albums?
The MTV.com chat rooms allow members with similar musical interests to communicate and share information with each other. You can post a comment or question and almost always get a response. To access, click Community in the navigation bar on any page, and select MTV Chat.

Another way to find other members who have similar interests, is to go to a page and check out the Recent Visitors feature at the bottom of the page. Who was the last person to check out the Backstreet Boys A-Z page before you? Who else was watching your favorite Real World video clip?

You can also search member profiles. In the search box at the top of each page, you can enter a keyword or username, and select "Search Members." Our search engine will look through all of our member profiles to find just what you're looking for.

How do I contact/send mail or e-mail to my favorite artist?
Unfortunately, MTV.com cannot provide contact information for any of the artists, celebrities or personalities who are featured on our channel or Web site. Try writing to them in care of their record label or official fan club.
