Arthur and Jess were high school sweethearts who couldn't handle the separation when they went to different colleges. Now they've been given a weekend to reconnect and see if the heat's still there.
Arthur and Jess were high school sweethearts that couldn't make it work once they went their separate ways for college. Jess is now dating Phil and Arthur's with Cathy, but both feel there's some unresolved issues with their relationship. A weekend at Casa Bella might be just what Jess and Arthur need to resolve those issues and more.
After getting settled into their bungalow, Cathy is less than thrilled when the first spy footage Natalia shows them is of Arthur telling Jess that things with Cathy aren't at all serious. The only relief for Phil and Cathy is that the touch-sensor light isn't going off...yet.
While sharing a romantic meal, Arthur and Jess get on the subject of their breakup. Apparently, Jess sent him a care package and never heard back from him. Arthur admits he was in the wrong, but that he had been trying to move on with his college life. Jess is all too willing to forgive him.
Back at the bungalow, Cathy and Phil have made the decision to listen in on Arthur and Jess' conversation as opposed to witnessing it without sound. Besides hearing them talk about how much they still care about each other, poor Cathy has to listen to Arthur describe their relationship as "just a hookup".
The next morning, after a hearty game of Wii boxing, Cathy and Phil choose to send their significant others to a "sensual cooking class" so they can spy on them. Before the TV even turns on, Cathy and Phil are tortured by the frequent lighting of the touch-lamp. Neither are thrilled when Arthur gushes over how good Jess looks in her dress, what a great day it's been and how happy both are to be spending time together. Phil's starting to get worried that Jess may be easy to manipulate into hooking up with Arthur again.
Things only get worse when Jess and Arthur get their complimentary upgrade and Cathy and Phil see that they're both on the bed together with the touch-lamp again lighting up. They're also given the option of spying for any five minutes of the romantic dinner Jess and Arthur are having, tuning in to hear both Arthur and Jess admit that they haven't found anyone as special as each other. Fed up, Cathy and Phil turn off the TV and come up with a better plan: only watching when the touch-lamp turns on.
Fortunately, they don't have to wait long. Arthur has grabbed Jess' hand and asked what it would take for them to get back together. With the clock running out halfway through Jess' answer, Phil and Cathy only hear her say that she'd have to know he wasn't with any other girls. This is enough for Cathy, who storms out of the room in tears claiming she's done with Arthur.
Though they can't see it, Arthur and Jess are being more faithful than Phil and Cathy are giving them credit for. With only one bed in the room, Arthur has agreed to sleep on the couch. Jess may be confused, but she doesn't want to do anything to hurt Phil. Too bad Phil and Cathy can only see the touch-lamp go off again when Arthur gives Jess an innocent good night kiss on the cheek.
The weekend has come to an end and it's time for Cathy to have her chance to confront Jess. Jess clearly feels guilty about it, but gains no sympathy from Cathy. Phil manages to keep his cool around Arthur, presenting him with the decision he'll have to make between Jess and Cathy. Arthur doesn't seem too broken up when he has to tell Cathy that he's chosen Jess.
For once, Casa Bella has produced a happy ending, as Jess has chosen Arthur as well. Perhaps these two can make a go of it the second time around!
