Rehearsals for the Mac Miller concert continue in Los Angeles with D-Real, Flii Stylz and the Turf Feinz. With time running out, they finally nail the routine before boarding a flight to Seattle.
In Seattle, D-Real and the Turf Feinz meet Mac. The song for their performance is called "One Shot." It was written and recorded by D-Real as a tribute to his deceased brother, Dom. In addition to their opening performance, Mac has asked the Turf Feinz to join him on stage to perform with him during "Party on 5th Ave."
Back at the hotel, Flii tells the Turfs that they have to focus because they are about to do the biggest thing they've done in their lives. Later, D-Real rehearses alone while thinking about his murdered brother.
After calming their nerves, D-Real and the Turf Feinz deliver their opening performance to a packed crowd. Impressed, Flii announces that he plans to sign D-Real and the Turf Feinz to a deal with his management company. The Turf Feinz are overwhelmed and join Mac Miller back onstage to a roaring crowd.
Kaylin has been having trouble finding a full-time job, but in the meantime has decided to take part in Brooklyn Fashion Weekend. Her participation means having to create a small collection that will be shown during the event. She has designed some of the prints and created the designs, but must hire a seamstress to assist with constructing the clothes as she cannot complete the work in time on her own. Hours before her scheduled fitting with the models, Kaylin learns that the seamstress did not complete the work on her designs.
Kaylin is forced to show up for the model-fitting empty handed. Stressed and embarrassed over being unprepared, Kaylin meets the event's fashion director, Joan, who is very uncomfortable with the setback. Kaylin is forced to select models without having them try on her designs.
In a last-minute effort to finish design construction, Jenks and Kaylin enlist the help of some friends to work long into the night at Jenks' MTV office. The next morning, Kaylin and her team continue to sew at the venue. Tensions rise as Joan pressures Kaylin to finish on time, which results in Kaylin breaking down during a conversation outside with Jenks.
Jenks checks in with Chad, who's now working at Alfonso's Pizzeria.. Chad gives Jenks a tour and is clearly thriving, especially when it comes to his interactions with customers. Later, in the car, Chad explains that his job has given him hope for a better, more independent life.
But Chad's biggest stress is the fact that his parents have found a new home and they're going to move there soon. In preparation, Jenks helps Chad pack up his things. As an obsessive collector, Chad's belongings must be meticulously handled to keep everything in order. Adding to the stress, change of routine is immensely difficult for Chad and this move will test his ability to adapt.
For all of his life, Chad has slept in his parents' bedroom. They have told him that this needs to stop once they move into their new home, and Chad is struggling with the idea. As a compromise, Jenks convinces him to move his air mattress into the living room for a few hours. He enjoys his mini-sleepover with Jenks in the living room, but ultimately goes back into his parents' room to sleep.
