Inside the living room of Castle Bam, Brandon and Bam battle each other, pretending they are swashbuckling pirates. With fake swords in hand, Brandon and Bam swing from ropes, smash household items and anything else that gets in the way of their mock swordplay. April arrives and is shocked to see the damage done to the living room. Immediately, April yells at Bam and angrily storms out of the house. Bam gives April a call as she sits in her car ready to drive away. Bam says he'll make it up to her by taking her on a cruise. "Oh yeah, what's the catch?" says April.
The whole Viva La Bam clan heads to the docks. Waiting for them is an old 1800s schooner ship. Don Vito, upon seeing the ship, sternly refuses to get on the pre-industrial era ship. To appease Don Vito, Bam makes him captain of the ship and places a pirate style eye patch on Don Vito's face. April feels uneasy with Don Vito in charge. Bam makes a deal with April that they will stay docked and decide who the captain will be in the morning. Later, Bam leaves the ship to get supplies for a mutiny he has planned. The next morning while April, Phil and Don Vito are still asleep, Bam sets sail.
Later Bam feels like he doesn't want Don Vito to be the captain of the ship any more. Bam employs Brandon, Rake, Ryan, and Raab to help him stage a mutiny against Captain Vito. The mutineers let their discontent be known by spraying Don Vito with a fire hose. Bam claims he is the captain and that he's taking his crew to a deserted island. Bam drops anchor and loads up a small motorboat with his loyal crew, all of Don Vito's beer and several planks of wood. Bam and his crew arrive on the deserted island and begin to build a tiki bar with the materials they brought a shore. Don Vito jealously watches Bam and his friends enjoy themselves on the deserted island.
