About Episode

  1. Liberia recently emerged from a decades-long Civil War with a sordid history of full of child soldiers, rape and cannibalism. Shane Smith heads to Liberia to meet the former General Butt Naked -- now the Christian minister Joshua Blahyi -- who was known for fighting naked and killing and eating innocent children. Then we head off to a town in New Mexico that is somehow both the heroin overdose capital of the country -- and the lowrider capital of the country. Libya has been trying to re-integrate itself back into the world community, and when they offered us a junket to the country to celebrate "International Youth Day," we had to go. But we learn that the country is still deeply paranoid and insular when we get put on house arrest in our hotel. Finally, we go to Oakland, California to peek into the world of Lil B and Based Music.
