  1. In this episode viewers meet two young men who are trying to pursue their dreams without destroying their relationships with mom and dad in the process. Justin's traditional Persian parents have been pushing him to be a doctor for years, but Justin has his heart set on becoming a comedy writer. Carlos is hoping to support his daughter by making it big as a music producer and DJ. But his mother is insisting that he go to school and land steady work so he can start providing for his family now. Mom and dad want to call the shots - but do they really know best?
