Full Biography

  1. An All-American at Boston College, Kruczek won two Super Bowls as a quarterback with the Pittsburgh Steelers before finishing his playing career with the Washington Redskins. In his rookie season with the Steelers in 1976, he set a team record by leading them to six consecutive wins as Terry Bradshaw's replacement en route to the AFC Championship game. The record stood until 2004 when Ben Roethlisberger snapped the mark.

    Currently, Kruczek is the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. Prior to that, he was the quarterbacks coach at Florida State University, head coach at the University of Central Florida and the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.

    He has mentored current Atlanta Falcons' quarterback Matt Ryan and former NFL quarterback and current Mountain Lion quarterback Daunte Culpepper.
