The Hook Up is MTV's hot new dating show where singles sift through social media and web dirt to discover the truth about potential daters in order to find their perfect match for an awesome date in Hollywood!

Whether it's true love, true lust, or true high tech horror, host Andrew Schulz (MTV2's "Guy Code") guides a lucky Single through a rapid-fire, cyber-screening of four potential daters. The deeper they dig, the more they learn, and the closer they get to finding out how the daters measure up against their 'social media image.'

In three fast paced rounds, we explore pics, vids, tweets and updates to find the good...the bad...and the 'ugly' to help the Single decide who to eliminate. Ultimately, two finalists go head-to-head as their often embarrassing and always personal secrets are exposed.

The Single then chooses who to "hook up" with--but there's a twist--the chosen Dater gets to see the Single's online dirt before accepting the date.
