Stephanie walks into Heidi and Spencer's apartment in Hollywood, and after ignoring some of Spencer's rude comments, asks if he's talked to Heidi. He says he hasn't, and Stephanie tells him about a text Heidi sent her about running into her high school boyfriend, Colby. Spencer irritably responds by telling Stephanie that he knows all about Colby and how much Heidi's mom wants Heidi to get together with him. Stephanie quickly changes the subject and asks if he's seen the bartender again, but Spencer sarcastically remarks, "Yeah, 'cause that's really your business, what I've been doing and who I've been seeing." He goes on to say that now that he knows what Heidi's up to, he's going to start going out too, but Stephanie advises him to be on his best behavior.
At People's Revolution, Kelly Cutrone calls Lauren up to her office to discuss finding a new intern. Kelly asks if Lauren may know anyone who would be interested, but advises her to be careful when referring her friends.
Lauren meets Stephanie at Tart in LA, where Stephanie asks what's new at People's Revolution. Lauren tells her that they're looking for a new intern, and Stephanie indicates that she might be ready to leave her current internship and move on to something new. She slyly asks about the application process, and Lauren tells her she could get her an interview with Kelly. Stephanie excitedly says that she's nervous about getting a new job, then laughs that she's joking and not getting ahead of herself.
Back at Heidi and Spencer's apartment, Spencer enters to see that Heidi has returned from Colorado. Spencer asks how the trip was, and Heidi tells him that after talking to her mom about the bar incident, Darlene felt that they shouldn't be having these problems. Spencer retaliates by calling Heidi a hypocrite, mentioning her run-in with the ex-boyfriend. Although Heidi points out that doing shots with a bartender is different than running into an old friend while having a family dinner. They begin to fight, and Spencer comments that her three day trip home meant three days without fighting. When Heidi asks if he saw the bartender while she was gone, Spencer tells her no.
At People's Revolution, Stephanie arrives for her interview. Lauren sends her up to meet Kelly, and while Kelly begins looking over her resume, Stephanie explains that she ultimately wants to design handbags and hopes to use the experience to learn how she could brand her bags. Kelly answers, "So you basically want to use my experience and my clients and their inside knowledge to ultimately leave here and go make your own handbag line?" Stephanie quickly tries to clarify that handbags are for later on in her life, but Kelly tells her that she's running a business and wants to know more about what Stephanie knows about People's Revolution. Kelly goes on to grill her about her computer skills and her ability to speak French, then points out that this is a high pressure environment with no nervousness or crying aloud. Stephanie says that she is ready for it, but Kelly says, "Not by this resume, honey."
While driving to a club, Charlie asks Spencer if they're meeting anybody out, and Spencer tells him that last time they were at The Dime, Stacie told him that this was the night she and her friends go out. Spencer assures him that there will be lots of friends out at the club for them to have a good time with, but Charlie warns him, "Don't get caught slipping."
At Katsuya in Glendale, Stephanie meets Heidi for dinner, where she tells her about her interview with Kelly Cutrone, which turned out to be anything but normal. Their conversation moves to Spencer, and they both agree that Charlie is a bad influence on him. Heidi says she thinks Spencer's at a club, and Stephanie suggests that they go out, remembering that H. Wood just opened.
At H. Wood, Spencer and Charlie have met up with Stacie and her friends. Stacie tells them to raise a glass to Spencer's girlfriend, Heidi, and then tells Spencer that she's so happy he could come out. The fun ends quickly when Heidi and Stephanie arrive on scene and spot Spencer at the table. Heidi accuses him of sneaking around, but Charlie stands up to defend Spencer, saying that he's just enjoying a night out with friends. Spencer tells her nothing is going on and invites Heidi to join them, but Heidi sarcastically asks, "Can I join this double date?" Stephanie leans over to Heidi and tells her that Stacie is obviously a slut, and when Stacie asks what Stephanie said, Stephanie tells her that she's a home wrecker. While Spencer tries to settle everyone down, Stephanie and Stacie keep firing insults. Finally, Heidi tells Spencer that she's done, and wants nothing to do with him.
The next morning at Stephanie's apartment, Heidi says that she can't believe she's in this situation. Heidi vents about how Spencer blames her for all of this because she ran into her ex-boyfriend, then says that she's done since there's no future for the relationship. Stephanie suggests that they go to couples' therapy and use that as an ultimatum, but Heidi's not so sure she wants to give Spencer another chance.
At People's Revolution, Kelly pulls Lauren aside to discuss Stephanie. She comments on how badly the interview went, but still feels inclined to give her a chance. Lauren explains that she works really hard in school and really wants the job, and Kelly points out that Lauren will be her superior, so any of Stephanie's mistakes will fall on her. Ultimately, if it doesn't work out, Lauren will be the one to fire her friend.
At Little Next Door, Heidi meets Spencer for lunch, where Heidi brings up Stephanie's therapy suggestion. Spencer says that he's not going to take advice from his sister, and is certainly not going to see a therapist. Heidi brings up Stacie again and asks how many times he's seen her. When Heidi hears he's seen the girl three times, she lays down an ultimatum -- if he cares about their relationship he'll see a therapist. Otherwise, she's ending their relationship. When Spencer doesn't respond, Heidi gets up and leaves.
