    Alex Mallory

    Mallory is a big, strong country kid who has skills with both his arm and legs. He has been a running quarterback, but his challenge is working on getting the ball into tight spaces. Murray High School football coach Steve Duncan said about Mallory, "(Mallory) is kind of a Tebow-like kid in high school, so they are going to try to run him and he's going to run. He slashed us last year, scored touchdowns, gained a lot of yardage."  Height: 6'4"Weight: 205 lbsHigh School: Ballard Memorial High SchoolHometown: LaCenter, KY Statistics: Threw for 2,210 yards and 22 touchdowns as a junior in 2009. He ranked third in Kentucky's Class 1A division and 15th overall in the state with 184 yards per game last season. As a sophomore in 2008, he passed for 1,685 yards and 18 touchdowns. He has over 4,000 career passing yards and passed the 1,000 yard mark after four games in 2010. Fun Facts: Before each game, Alex says a prayer and touches a picture of a teammate who passed away last year. He also plays the drums in his church's praise band and plays guitar at home. His motto in life: "Quitters never win, and winners never quit."
