Taquita & Kaui › Ep. 104

After last week's car accident, Taquita and Kaui find out that they did $2,500 worth of damage to the Corvette they borrowed from their manager Ricky's friend. To pay it off, Ricky suggests that the girls score some fast cash by auditioning for any and all available gigs, even if it's something they're not interested in. He says he'll set up some auditions for Taquita and Kaui and give them a call later.

Back at the Happi Inn, Taquita and Kaui are chilling in their room when they get a call from Rita, the motel manager, asking them to come to her office. Thinking they're in trouble, again, the girls slowly walk downstairs. When they get to Rita's office they find a surprise waiting for them: Kaui's three sisters have come to Las Vegas for a visit! All five of the ladies head back up to Taquita and Kaui's room. They chat for a while and then head out for some food. But because Kaui and her sisters are so excited to see each other, Taquita is left straggling behind and feeling lonely.

The next day Taquita and Kaui meet Ricky at a "circus school" to see if the ladies have what it takes to audition for Cirque du Soleil. The girls try to swing on suspended hoops, cling to swaying velvet ropes and bounce up and down on a balance beam. Taquita and Kaui give it their all, but spend most of their time crash-landing on the mats -- and laughing at themselves, of course. The girls then meet a fire breather who tries to teach them a few tricks, like juggling blazing torches. Not surprisingly, Taquita and Kaui don't have much success with this either. Right now Ricky's 0 for 2.

After botching their chance to run away with the circus, Taquita and Kaui decide to go bowling with Kaui's sisters to try to relax and have some fun. Like the day before, Kaui and her sisters are having a blast while Taquita is left on the sidelines with nothing to do but feel sorry for herself.

In the morning Taquita and Kaui get a call from Ricky, who says he has a job for them that can pay for the crashed Corvette in just one night. Ricky tells them that they'll don bikinis to be ring girls at an upcoming boxing match. Taquita is excited because she's always wanted to be a ring girl, but Kaui's not too comfortable with the idea of baring her bod for a bunch of strangers. But since they really need the money, they agree to do it.

Taquita and Kaui meet up with the fight promoter to get pointers on how to best strut their stuff in the ring. Kaui is a natural, and even adds her own little style to her walk. Taquita can't seem to get it right and needs a little coaching from Kaui until she finally gets the hang of it.

When the fight starts, Kaui looks like a pro as she walks the ring. When Taquita enters the ring she winds up holding the number sign upside down because she mistakenly thinks the number six is a nine! Fortunately Kaui notices the mix up and signals Taquita, who fixes the card and finishes her walk with grace.

After the fight, Taquita and Kaui go out for a farewell dinner with Kaui's sisters. The sisters are aware that Taquita is feeling a little left out and homesick, so they give Taquita a card and officially welcome her into their family.

After dinner, Taquita and Kaui say farewell to Kaui's sisters. As soon as they're gone, Taquita lets out a devilish laugh, grabs Kaui and screams: "You're all mine now!"
