About Episode

  1. It's the end of the school year and Seniors Mia, Jasmine, Shaakira and Malik are preparing to graduate from SCPA. But, before they receive their diplomas the students will perform at the Graduation Gala. As Mia prepares a new song on piano, Malik and Tyler are told that their rival crews -- The Definition and Black Rain -- will need to work together to perform a hip hop dance at the event.

    The group makes their way through Senior Class Day, and despite some rough patches in rehearsals, The Definition and Black Rain perform a flawless routine for an appreciative crowd. Plus, Mia's "Chasing After Something" hits a chord with all of the graduating seniors, who are preparing for life outside of SCPA.

    After the big day, Mia packs her bags and moves in with Aaron and her band. Instead of attending college, she opts to focus heavily on her music career. While Jasmine moves to New York to spend the summer dancing at Alvin Ailey in New York City, she moves to attend college at SMU in the fall. Before she leaves, Tyler pays her a visit to make amends for their rocky relationship her senior year. Meanwhile, Malik and Shaakira head to Columbia College where they study dance and acting, respectively. Tyler's set to return as a senior, with plans to rule the school.
