ABOUT THE AWARDS
MTV2's longest running franchise and the #1 weekly hip-hop countdown show, Sucker Free, is crowning the kings and queens of hip hop.

This fall, the Sucker Free Awards will honor the year in hip-hop with a unique look back at the music, moments and personalities that made this year memorable. Celebrities, hip-hop giants and comedians make up a group of tastemakers, who will breakdown the awards and give their insight on the categories. But they don’t get to have all the fun. This year we want YOU to vote on three very important awards: Best Crew of 2011, Rookie of the Year and The Must-Follow Person of 2011. Vote now, and vote often.

Held at LIV Fontainebleau Miami Beach, the Sucker Free Awards will be anything but traditional, and our special YMCMB performance is sure to be talked about for weeks following the show!
