With KellyAnne showing off her skills to the veteran Challengers and Rachel being thrown off by Johnny's alliance, The Island is about to get interesting. The Real Worlders and Road Rulers are even more focused on getting down and dirty--and closer to that $300,000 prize.
The alliance that is led by Johnny is trying to play the game so that they all have a key and a spot on the boat at the end of the game. In past RW/RR Challenges, no one wanted to be thrown into an elimination round, but this game is different and every competitor is fighting to go into a face-off to win a key. Once the Challengers get a hold of a key, they have a seat on the boat and hopefully their key will being one of the four keys to open up the $300,000 treasure chest.
Evelyn is eager to go into a face-off because she knows the Johnny hopes to leave her behind on the island instead of allowing her to win a key. Johnny Bananas doesn't hide his dislike for Evelyn and starts a fight with her every chance he gets, especially when it concerns food.
The group puts aside their differences about fish and eggs to throw a party for Johnny tribal-style. Jenn follows Rachel's footsteps and tells Johnny that she wants part of his alliance and hopes to win a face-off and get a key, especially over Evelyn. While Johnny and Jenn put together a plan for her and Paula to beat KellyAnne in the next girl face-off, they're interrupted by a fight breaking out in the other room.
Ashli felt insulted when Robin called her a "rookie," after Ashli tried to get her to join the party. Robin insists that she earned the right to call Ashli a rookie but Ashli feels that the disrespect has gone too far. To show Robin and the rest of the group that she's not about to be treated like this, Ashli reminds Robin that while she may be a veteran she's never won a Challenge. Later on in the night Ashli then cuts her foot on a piece of glass in which Robin assumes is "karma."
The next day another U.S. Army airdrop arrives and lucky for the Challengers it holds a steak dinner inside. More parts of the boat are taken out of the crate as the competitors see that the boat is piecing together as an outrigger. Another T-Mobile Sidekick 3 is also given to the Challengers to make calls back home.
Ashli talks to Paula, Johnny and Kenny about her injured food which she can't walk on or get wet. They tell Ashli that she should quit the game but she's not convinced that her bad cut should hold her back from that final prize. Even Dunbar gets on Ashli's case and said that she's wasting food by not leaving The Island. Colie tries to calm him down but it only stirs up more trouble with a very hungry Dunbar.
After the Challengers lick their plates clean from a well-deserved steak dinner, they rest up before deciding which girls are going to compete in the face-off. Johnny and Kenny want Johanna and Paula to go against KellyAnne, but they don't feel that they would be able to win against KellyAnne. At the group meeting, Paula, Jenn, Evelyn, Ashli and Johanna all volunteer to go in the face-off. Johnny thinks that Ashli should compete, and Ashli decides to compete against Paula and Jenn. Evelyn walks out of the meeting and host TJ Lavin isn't pleased with the decision either. The Islanders wait it out until the face-off begins but not before they are attacked by a swarm of bugs.
In this week's face-off, "Ball Buster," the three girls can pick a guy to be on their team. Ashli picks Derrick, Paula chooses Dunbar and Jenn takes Tyrie. Each team has to rush a giant ball and try to get it into their goal, with the winning team rewarded with the Kicker iK500 iPod Stereo System.
The teams fight it out and try to move the ball around, resulting in a stalemate. Ashli follows Derrick's strong lead, while Paula tries to stop from bouncing off the ball. Evelyn says that Paula barely contributes to her team, but Paula and Dunbar score the first goal. While the competitors rest, Paula approaches Jenn and gives her an ultimatum -- help her win and she'll make sure Jenn won't go home. Jenn agrees and gives Paula the next goal, naming her the winner.
At elimination, Paula is given her key and Jenn follows Ashli in pleading their cases to the group. Ashli gets up and says that she knows Jenn may deserve to stay in the game more than her and trusts that the group will make the right decision. TJ, still upset with Ashli's choice to go in the face-off, argues with Ashli saying she's quitting the game. The entire group votes for Jenn to stay and Evelyn won't even hug Ashli good-bye.
Back at the house, Johnny talks to his alliance and they decide that Evelyn can't ever go into a face-off. With all the keys already handed out, the next few challenges should get interesting as the remaining keyless players are fighting for their spot on the boat.
