On the last episode of Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Inferno 3, the Bad Asses pulled their way out of a three game losing streak and tied up the score by banking 10K. In The Inferno, Good Guy David ran circles around Bad Ass Danny, eliminating him from the game and leaving the Bad Asses with just three guys in the competition.
On the van ride back from The Inferno, the Good Guys discuss what a strong team they are now. It's indeed a tremendous position for the team to be in, since they're up two guys, and they assume they'll be able to seriously smoke the Bad Asses in the next challenge.
During breakfast the next day, Susie and Tonya are at each other's throats. Tonya is pissed that Susie told her that she smells "like a stripper." But Susie plays dumb and says she has no clue why Tonya hates her so much. Tonya warns Susie to never talk to her again, and then tells the other Bad Asses that she wants Susie gone. It's on!
Things cool down when a clue arrives and the Good Guys and the Bad Asses find out that their next challenge is going to be "a smashing good time." The Bad Asses admit they're worried about only having three men on the team while the Good Guys have five, and say their biggest concern right now is just holding onto their men.
The Good Guys and the Bad Asses meet host T.J. Lavin at the Lourensford Estate in Somerset West, South Africa, where their challenge is "Grape Smash." Behind T.J. are two trucks filled with grapes, two big wine barrels and a bunch of empty wine bottles. The teams have to take the grapes off the truck, put them in the wine barrels and smash 'em up with their feet. As they're smashing, juice will flow out of spigots at the bottoms of the barrels and they'll have to transfer the juice in their mouths to the empty wine bottles. Say what?!
Yup, the Good Guys and the Bad Asses have to fill their mouths up with nasty foot juice and spit it into as many bottles as they can. But that's not the only catch. Everyone must wear the uniform provided -- bikinis for the girls and short, skin-tight Speedos for the guys. If anyone refuses to bare their bod, that person can't compete. It's no time to be shy since the team that collects the most juice in 30 minutes banks $10,000.
While the Bad Asses are lovin' their new look, some of the Good Guys are jumpy about putting on their skivvies. In fact, Alton, Ace and Timmy flat-out refuse to even try them on. Alton's excuse is that he's "hung like a horse" and the outfit leaves little to the imagination. Meanwhile, Ace says he's still hurting from the harassment he received from his friends and family after wearing bikini bottoms during a previous challenge. Without Alton, Ace and Timmy, the Good Guys are at a huge disadvantage. While the rest of the team is ticked, they're still willing to put their best foot forward during operation Grape Smash.
Once everyone strips down and suits up, the Good Guys and the Bad Asses start hauling grapes and jumping into the barrels. As the grapes get smashed the teams start sucking up the juice and spitting it into the bottles. The Bad Asses spigot is flowing like a faucet while the Good Guys are seriously struggling to squeeze out even a drop. Alton, Ace and Timmy are starting to feel bad as they stand on the sidelines and watch their team fail miserably.
With just five minutes to go, the Good Guys have about five wine bottles filled with juice and the Bad Asses have about 15. When the whistle blows, everyone's dripping in juice and the Bad Asses clearly dominated. After banking another 10K, the Bad Asses are now in the lead with $40,000 in their bank account.
Once everyone gets cleaned up, it's Inferno deliberation time, and two women must be sent in. Tonya desperately wants to go up against Susie, so Susie's the easy choice for the Bad Asses. But Susie says there's no way she's going home: "They will have to sift my bones out of The Inferno one by one before I leave South Africa." After much discussion, the Good Guys pick Jenn because they think Tonya's too tough to beat and they see Aneesa as the Bad Asses' weakest link so they want to keep her in the game.
Tonya is pissed that she won't get a chance to challenge Susie in The Inferno, so she tells the rest of the Bad Asses that if they win the Life Shield that she wants to be the one to (hopefully) kick Susie's ass.
The heat is on leading up to the female Inferno, as the girls from the Good Guys spend the night gabbing about why they hate Tonya. Susie says she hates Tonya because she's a "slut." Meanwhile, Tonya is outside with the other Bad Ass chicks bitching about how much she hates Susie and promises that she'll make Susie's life a living hell until Susie breaks down and wants to go home. The tension leading up to the next Inferno is insane!
