Rob and Big road trip to a rodeo in Northern California with the hopes of making Mini a championship horse.
For the past month, something's been missing in Rob and Big's life -- Mini Horse has been away from home getting some intensive obedience training. Now that Mini's about to return, Rob has decided the next logical step is to enter him in a miniature horse competition. Rob figures that, with a super-trained Mini and a hip-hop attitude, they can shake up the mini horse community. It's time for Mini to do work!
The next competition is in Santa Rosa, Calif., so it looks like Rob and Big are taking a road trip up the coast in hopes of bringing home a blue ribbon. There's just one problem: When Mini returns, he isn't as well behaved as they'd hoped he'd be. Not only does he buck at Rob, but he even attacks Meaty.
Not wanting to give up on their blue-ribbon dreams, Big researches the different miniature horse competitions and there's one that's all about bucking, kicking and running. With Mini's track record, how can they lose?
The guys pack up Mini and Meaty and head to Santa Rosa. During one of many poop pit stops for Mini, Rob discovers a drainage ditch that's perfect for skating. So Rob jumps on his board and does a few tricks. The next time they stop, Rob and Big enlist a babysitter for Meaty and Mini so they can race some dune buggies through the sands of Pismo Beach.
After having a blast on the beach, Rob, Big, Meaty and Mini settle into their hotel room to rest up for the big day. Bet the other guests never expected to see a miniature horse racing through the halls!
The next day, Rob decides that he and Big should head to Napa Valley for a little relaxation. They hit up a spa and decide to try a mud bath, even though Big isn't thrilled about getting his junk dirty ... and the spa probably isn't too thrilled that Big's girth overflows the mud bath! Despite the mess, the mud bath does the trick and Rob hopes their newfound relaxation will help Mini Horse beat the competition.
At the main event, the competition is fierce. And, while Rob and Big are checking out the other miniature horses, a kind person whispers to Big that Mini needs a professional groomer if he's going to be taken seriously. Upset that they're rocking a ghetto horse, Rob and Big immediately find a groomer for Mini. While Mini gets primped, Rob and Big get changed into their rhinestoned rodeo gear. It's time to bedazzle the crowd!
When it's Mini's moment to shine, Rob trots him out like a proud papa. Mini starts out strong, running and bucking just like a pro, but he quickly loses steam and decides to stop. Still, Rob and Big think they have a shot at taking home the blue ribbon, if only because they have the hottest outfits.
After anxiously awaiting the results, Mini walks away with a green ribbon -- for eighth place! No matter the outcome, though, Mini's still a champion in Rob's and Big's eyes!
