Watch as your favorite Pit Crew guys battle it out for Abram's empty spot on the RV.
The Roadies take on The Pit Crew in their very first Pit Stop mission.
This week brings a new Pit Crew member to the RV. After Abram got booted for fighting, two Pit Crew guys were voted to battle it out for Abram's spot in the Road Rules 360 game. It was Dan and Monte who received the most votes and after a hard fought Elimination Battle seen exclusively on roadrules.mtv.com, Dan emerged victorious.
As Adam and Susie were on hand to observe the Elimination Battle proceedings, they wait with Dan for the RV to pick them up. While they do, we find out that Dan may be interested in more than friendship with the other Pit Crew member to win her way onto the RV, Tori.
Meanwhile, back on the RV, as Shane struggles to drive the rig, we learn that Dan may be in luck. Out of all the Pit Crew guys, Tori is hoping that it is Dan who will be joining the team.
Eventually, Shane finds his way through Southern California traffic to pick up Adam, Susie and Tori. With the Roadies on their way, the team settles in for the night. As everyone is getting to know Dan, the feelings he and Tori harbor become clear. Excited about the possibility of a new relationship, the veterans encourage any chance of the two of them hooking up.
The next morning the Road Rulers receive a text message instructing them to head to some sand dunes. When the team arrives for their third mission, they find out that this week is special in that it is the first Pit-Stop Mission. In this task, the Roadies won't have to compete against the clock, but against another team, and this time, it's the Pit Crew.
This Pit Stop Mission has each team splitting off into guy-girl pairs, attaching themselves to each other with a short rope and running up a huge dune to collect tires that need to be brought back down and placed on poles. There are 40 tires each for the Road Rulers team and the Pit Crew team. The first to collect all of their tires will receive $10,000.
Once they start, the competitors quickly find out that even though the mission is extremely simple in its concept, running up and down a large sand dune is very physically challenging. After each team has collected almost half of the tires, exhaustion starts to show through.
Jerry from the Pit Crew complains that he is having trouble breathing and asks for his inhaler from his backpack. After checking him out, a medic decides that for his own safety, Jerry must stop competing immediately. With the Pit Crew down a person, it's decided that the competition will be stopped and the team with the most tires will be declared the winner. It's not long before the Road Rulers, with 28 tires collected, beat out Pit Crew's total of 20 and the Roadies add another $10,000 to their bank.
As always, the celebration is short-lived as the team knows that they have to vote one of their own into the Elimination Pit to fight for a spot on the RV. But the voting has changed, with the Road Rulers finding out that they need to nominate just one person. The team decides that the fairest way to make the determination is to pick a name out of a hat each week.
All the names are put into a hat, except for Dan who is immune because it's his first week in the RV. The pick? It's Tori! Both Dan and Tori are visibly upset by the turn of events, but it may allow them to show their true feelings for one another.
