It's time for a brand-new season of The Real World! This time, seven strangers head overseas and halfway around the world to Sydney, Australia, for a season full of new friendships, hookups, heartbreaks and, of course, drama, drama, drama!
The first Real Worlders we meet are Trisha, a 19-year-old blonde cutie from California, and Cohutta, a 23-year-old southern guy from a small town in Georgia. Unlike Trisha, who is from a big city, Cohutta is awed by Sydney. Then we are introduced to tough cookie KellyAnne, a hot 20-year-old from Texas. With her saucy attitude, she's sure to add some spice to the house.
Meanwhile, Isaac, a 21-year-old rebel from Cleveland, prides himself on his artistic and musical talent. He's had a troubled past and hopes The Real World will provide him with a fresh start. As Isaac waits impatiently on a park bench, a sexy blonde saunters over and introduces herself as Shauvon, a 24-year-old student from California. Isaac is instantly drawn to Shauvon (and her, um, big "toddlers"). Is there already a love connection brewing?
Dunbar, the third and final fella, is a southern patriot from Mississippi. Dunbar explains his loyalty to his two favorite things: the south and his girlfriend. Unfortunately for Parisa, a 21-year-old student from New York, who is the first to meet Dunbar, her hopes of pursuing a relationship with Dunbar are shot down as soon as she realizes his devotion to his girlfriend.
When Trisha first arrives at the house, she's apprehensive about her new roommates. But she and KellyAnne become fast friends and decide right away to room together. Trisha says she doesn't want to cheat on her long-term boyfriend but admits that she may have trouble resisting temptation. KellyAnne fesses up to being quite a flirt and hopes she has the opportunity to show off that side of her personality.
After only being in The Real World house for five minutes, Shauvon voices her fears about feeling left out of Trisha and KellyAnne's clique. When Shauvon and Parisa first meet, Shauvon is relieved that Parisa is "normal." But Parisa feels threatened by the other girls' beauty, tagging them as "carbon copy supermodel-types."
Drama begins to brew right off the bat when Parisa comes off as a little cold toward KellyAnne and Trisha during their first encounter. KellyAnne, who believes first impressions are the most important thing, immediately gets a bad vibe about Parisa. While the girls get acquainted (or not), the three guys discuss who they think the hottest girl is, and they all agree that KellyAnne takes the cake.
Later that night, the gang heads out for their first night of partying, Sydney style. As soon as they get to the club, though, things start to get a little out of hand. At the bar, Isaac and Shauvon flirt playfully while KellyAnne bounces around the bar and gets somewhat sloppy. When KellyAnne falls to the floor giggling, Parisa worries that she will end up babysitting for the next four months. Unhappy and annoyed, Parisa leaves the club early.
Back at the house, KellyAnne and Dunbar heat things up a bit when they take a late-night dip in the hot tub. Dunbar admits that despite his love for his girlfriend, KellyAnne's sexy moves are hard to resist. But a little flirting never hurt anyone, right? Parisa watches KellyAnne throw herself all over Dunbar, and then she and Shauvon discuss how they are mutually disgusted by KellyAnne's behavior.
