Patience is wearing thin between the Real World roommates as pranks at the Brooklyn house are starting to cross the line.
The boys are still annoyed by their female roommates as the Devyn and the rest of the girls have diva behavior when it comes to house chores. JD tries to solve the problem with a house chore list but none of the girls respond positively to the idea.
Chet and Ryan stop in on a video shoot for Fairway to check out a true production set and get a chance to show off their hosting skills. Ryan decides to pursue his dream of being behind the camera and even applies to New York Film Academy.
JD approaches Sarah about her attitude and the two get into a fight which ends with Sarah telling JD that he's just "not that important" enough for her to want to talk out any issues.
Ryan attends his first session of film academy and is excited to jump head first into the production world as he's handed three film assignments for the next few weeks. Sarah begins to teach art therapy at the local LGBT center, while JD is still wondering why she hasn't tried to resolve their issues.
At the film academy, Ryan presents his first film to his class which stars Chet and Scott. Ryan is enjoying his class but as he's out of the house even more, tension about chores starts to grow. Scott asks Katelynn to clean her mess but when Katelynn refuses Scott decides to hide the car keys from the girls. Sarah ends up being late to teach her art class when she has to clean Katelynn's dishes in order for Scott to give back the car keys.
The girls rant about the guys in the confessional room when they get back to the house and JD tells the boys exactly what was said about them. When the guys have to leave the house to pick up Ryan, the problems only build. The guys return to the house and start to fight with the girls about not pitching in around the house.
The guys fight with Sarah about talking about everyone behind their backs and Sarah says that none of the guys are worth her energy. It's the last straw for JD as he storms out of the room and breaks the table when he can't take any more of Sarah's excuses.
JD rounds up the rest of the roommates for a "family pow-wow" but when Devyn refuses to be a part of it, JD rips the phone of out of her hand. The roommates finally sit down and calmly talk about what they want one another to work on in order to keep the peace.
The next morning, the girls pitch in around the house and the boys feel that a lot of the issues get resolved from the night before.
With the dishes cleaned and a new phone installed by JD, will the roommates be able to move on from this? Or will "luxury cruise liner" girls and the "battleship" boys just be ships passing in the night?
