  1. Before beating 500 other actresses to play Sandy West in "The Runaways" with Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, Stella was born and raised in New York where she landed her first short film, "Liminalty" at the tender age of fourteen, starring opposite Stephen Baldwin. Realizing that acting was her passion, she left home when she was sixteen and moved to New York City to finish high school and study acting full-time. Soon after arriving, Stella landed roles on "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU," and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent." She has also landed roles in "House" and "Gossip Girl."

    Stella then starred in the critically-acclaimed "Remember The Daze," which premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival and was cast with the next generation of up-and-comers, including Leighton Meester. Stella has also starred opposite Spencer Breslin, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Ally Sheedy in the comedy, "Harold." She also played Ethan Hawke's daughter in Antoine Fuqua's film, "Brooklyn's Finest," which starred Richard Gere, Don Cheadle and Ellen Barkin.
