The girls head to L.A. to do some publicity and shoot their new video. Diddy hooks them up with a beautiful place to stay and they are thrilled with their L.A. digs.
The next day, the girls get ready to do a bunch of radio promotions and reveal their band name, Danity Kane. Most radio hosts looked stumped, but then Dawn explains: Danity Kane was the name of a superhero she drew who represents a combination of all of the members in the group. After the girls belt out a tune on the spot, proving that they are indeed very talented, the radio hosts get excited about their new song and soon-to-be video.
The next day the girls do a host of radio interviews reveal their band name...Danity Kane. Most of the radio personalities are surprised by the name and ask them about their choice. Dawn explains that it's the name of a superhero she drew who represents each member of the group. The ladies also take the opportunity to showcase their talent by belting out a verse from their single.
Next is the rehearsal for the video. Choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson gets frustrated after learning that the girls are unprepared. None of them have heard the version of the song that they are rehearsing to, nor do they have a copy of it. The girls make excuses about the lack of time, but Laurie Ann warns that they are professionals now and must be more prepared. After another rehearsal, they improve and Laurie Ann compliments them, but also questions, "What does Danity Kane mean?"
The following day, the girls get pumped to shoot with video director Jessy Terrero. As D. Woods notes, he's directed "just about all the videos that you might see on Sucker Free Sunday on MTV." When Diddy arrives, its show time.
The girls are all in shock that this big production is being put on for them. MTV's "Making the Video" arrives to tape the event also. Although the car they're using in the video gives them some trouble and time is ticking, in the end they manage to get the shoot done before sunrise. Everyone is impressed and the girls feel like the experience was surreal. Diddy commends them on their hard work and says they nailed it.
Aundrea reflects on their journey to this point from the competition, recording the album, dance rehearsals and now the video. Diddy compliments the girls for their hard work and they all share a group hug. This looks like the beginning of big things for Danity Kane.
