About Episode

  1. Things are getting tense as time gets shorter, so Diddy surprises the group with a day of luxury and relaxation on a yacht. As they bask in the sun and sip champagne, Diddy tries to get to know everyone on a more personal level. Aubrey and Donnie's blossoming love affair is brought out into the open, and Dawn and Q admit to having some chemistry...as if it wasn't obvious already!

But that's more than enough love and sensitivity talk for Diddy. He brings the groups back into the studio to finish recording their hits. Even with their relaxing day on the water, the guys start to crack under the pressure of the studio. Diddy sits them down and says that he's pleased with Q and Willie's performance at the All-Star level, but everyone else has a lot of work to do. He not only criticizes their weak vocals, but insists that they drop a few pounds...or fifteen. Diddy ends the pep talk by labeling Brian as the weakest link and ordering a turnaround in performance and appearance during the next seven days.

Animosity in the studio carries over to the next morning at the house, when Brian and Rob start a fight over who gets to shower. Tempers escalate to the point where the Den mother, Michael, has to step in. Michaels soothing tactic of talking about feelings temporarily smoothes things over, but Brian and Rob still have some problems to work out.

Danity Kane continues to impress as they work on "Damaged." Now that they're happy with the upbeat tracks, their sound is better than ever and their album is almost finished.

But when it's time for Day 26 to get in the studio, they're still battling over who will sing what parts and who gets to be the lead singer. Willie nervously comments that if they keep fighting over this and don't pull things together, the group could fall apart and they'll never release an album. As the guys continue to fight, Aubrey and Donnie enjoy a quiet, no-drama moment alone on the pier.

The next day, Danity Kane records their final song, "Lights Out", which Dawn wrote herself. As soon as they finish, the girls excitedly gather everyone into the studio to show off their work and celebrate wrapping up their second album.

The guys are still having issues in the studio, and don't finish their album the same day. After such a long, tense day of recording, Brian and Rob start another petty fight during the ride back to the house. But the fight gets carried away once again, and Ankh Rah steps in for a group therapy session. The guys tell each other what they feel other group members should or should not be doing, and what things need to happen or stop happening within the group. After getting everything out in the open, the guys feel the pressure lifted off their shoulders.

The next day in the studio, as the guys work on their final song, "Got Me Going," they feel the good vibe and 'group love' coming back. But even though they think they sound good, they get a little nervous when Diddy drops by to listen and give his opinion. It looks like Ankh Rah's group rap session really paid off; Diddy says everyone's voices sound great. With two albums finally finished and ready to become platinum, everyone heads out for a night of celebration.
