After meeting on MySpace, Cassie and Emmelie realized they were complete opposites that completed each other. And after just six weeks together, they were Engaged and Underage. Now, Cassie and Emmelie can't wait to meet each other at the altar and spend the rest of their lives together. But these 19-year-old girls have a lot of obstacles to face before they get married, especially since their parents are having trouble accepting the fact that there are going to be two brides at this wedding!
Living with Emmelie's parents hasn't been easy for Cassie and Emmelie, especially since Emmelie's father is finding it impossible to come to terms with his daughter's unconventional relationship. Because of this, Emmelie and her father are barely speaking.
Meanwhile, Emmelie's mother is willing to let the girls have the reception at their house, but Cassie's demands are getting out of hand and the two are always butting heads. Cassie is a self-proclaimed "control freak" who gets whatever she wants, and she does not want Emmelie's mom planning the reception. Emmelie pleads with Cassie to relinquish some control, saying she should show some appreciation for all her mom is doing for them, but Cassie is not willing to settle. She wants things done her way or there will be hell to pay.
Emmelie's mom warns her daughter that Cassie's too controlling and they're too young for such a big commitment. She thinks Emmelie hasn't given boys a fair shake and doubts Cassie and Emmelie's love will last the test of time. Then, as if things couldn't get any worse, Emmelie is devastated to learn that her father refuses to walk her down the aisle.
But things get really ugly when Emmelie's parents tell the girls they're "too busy" to meet Cassie's parents for the first time. A fit of yelling and tears ensues as the brides-to-be try to change their minds. After seeing the girls so upset, Emmelie's parents realize how important this is and promise to make it to dinner.
Despite the importance of their parents' first meeting, Cassie and Emmelie get lost on the way to dinner and are an hour late. By the time the girls arrive, they are so frustrated about getting lost that they begin to argue, and Cassie refuses to leave the car until Emmelie gives her a kiss. Emmelie thinks Cassie is being ridiculous and wonders aloud whether they are really compatible. After much arguing, which causes them to be even later, Emmelie finally gives in to Cassie's demand and gives her a kiss so that she'll get out of the car.
At dinner, their parents discuss how they've had a hard time accepting Cassie and Emmelie's relationship, but they all agree that they love their kids and should support them. The girls are relieved that their parents have finally met and everyone is getting along.
As the two brides get dressed on the day of the wedding, Emmelie stresses about confronting her dad about walking her down the aisle. When she finally finds him, he agrees to give her away, despite the fact that she is marrying a woman. After the ceremony, her father gives a toast expressing how hard it was for him to accept his daughter's lifestyle. But he says he now accepts the girls' marriage and warmly welcomes Cassie to the family.
