Angel and Christian, both 18, are Engaged and Underage and already have an 11-month-old baby named Tanner. They can't wait to get married. But the road to the altar isn't going to be an easy one. What's a guy to do when his mother and fiancé just don't get along?
Before Tanner was born, Christian's mother, Rose, had high hopes for her son. But when Christian decided to give up his golf career and not go to college in order to get a job to provide for his girlfriend and baby, Rose thought Christian was throwing away his future. It's something she has repeatedly told him over and over again.
With the wedding only two weeks away, Christian's mother is still trying to talk him out of marrying Angel. But Christian defends the choices he's made, and the situation quickly heats up when Angel arrives at the scene. Angel confronts Christian's mother about the fact that she wanted Angel to have an abortion. The argument escalates so much that Angel storms off, leaving Christian crying and feeling torn between the two most important women in his life.
On Angel's very first Mother's Day, Christian goes golfing with his friends instead of spending time with Angel and Tanner. Needless to say, Angel is not happy. She complains to her friend Danielle and says it's a bummer that while she's taking care of the baby and planning her wedding, her friends were off at prom.
A week before the wedding, the stress starts to get to Angel as she picks a fight with Christian over the "rules" for his bachelor party. Christian thinks he should be able to do whatever he wants during his "last night of freedom" but Angel is adamant that there will be no strippers or drinking. The blowout ends in name-calling and slamming doors and, in the end, Christian's bachelor party is pretty tame as the guys just hang around and goof off. But that doesn't stop Angel from calling to check up on what they're doing!
To add to the tension, Christian's mother has surgery just a few days before the wedding. On the way to the hospital, Angel breaks down crying, questioning why Christian is visiting his mother when she wouldn't allow Christian to be with Angel during the birth of their child. Angel says she doesn't understand why Rose expects Christian to always be there for her but not for Angel and the baby.
The night before the wedding, Angel admits she is thankful for all the sacrifices Christian has made to be with her and Tanner, while Christian says he has no regrets about his choices. He hopes that his mother and soon-to-be wife will eventually make peace. When Angel and Christian tie the knot, everyone puts their negative feelings aside for the day. Christian reintroduces his mother to his new wife in hopes of making a fresh start. Finally, after many ups and downs, Christian, Angel and Tanner have officially become a family.
