This week Celestina talks about growing up a dancer, shows us some eights, plus check out Nolan in the studio and more.
Between booking shows, attending auditions, or just staying above water, keeping your game up in the world of professional dance can be cut-throat. With many people auditioning for small amounts of work, and financial strains, sometimes causes hostility. On the other hand, sometimes a dancer is so successful that they have more work than they can deal with.
After being evicted, Nolan goes with his roommate Justin to find a place to live. Their only criteria: no old people, and no tweakers. They guys look at several different styles of apartments, but nothing seems to fit. Later that day, Nolan tells his mom that he came out to his father. She tells him that when he came out to her, she was worried someone would hurt him because of his lifestyle or beliefs. His mother reassures him that give his father just needs some time to understand.
Back at Millenium, Blake tells some friends that he thinks he has a good shot at the Janet Jackson tour. Nolan listens in and laughs at Blake, saying that he's trying to use others to make himself feel better. During the class, Blake tears up the floor and gets a round of applause and the attention of the instructor. After Blake's performance Nolan looks Blake in the eye and attempts to call him out. Blake responds by telling Nolan that he has nothing on his resume and leaves the studio wishing him luck.
Later on at Millennium, Jersey scores a spot in the new Omarion video, which poses a problem since she's booked to work the sketchers commercial at the same time. Jersey decides to take the Sketchers commercial because it would be her first national commercial. Because of car troubles, Blake picks up Jersey at a car garage and they discuss Nolan's attack on him.
After the Sketchers shoot Jersey goes with Blake to the car dealership. There, she test drives a mustang which breaks down because of a lack of gas. The salesperson is embarrassed and hooks Jersey up with a deal she can't refuse.
Nolan and Celestina are chillin' at her places and discuss what went down at Millennium. Nolan is frustrated more with himself than he is with Blake. He just can't understand why he goes to so many try-outs but never gets booked.
