This week Rich and Tone tell us how they started choreographing dance, plus Blake stops by to show us some eights.
While taking a class at the Millennium dance studio, Staci, Blake, Kenny and Jersey stop for a break. When Kenny tells them he got called for a second audition for a Gap commercial, Staci and Jersey admit that they also go callbacks, leaving Blake to wonder why he hasn't.
The next day Kenny, Staci and Jersey all arrive in New York City for The Gap audition. It is an exciting time for Kenny who
has never had an audition in the Big Apple. They're nervous when they pull up in a taxi, but it doesn't show during the audition.
The casting directors unanimously agree that they like all three dancers; unfortunately there is only one male and one
female role in the commercial. After some deliberation, they decide on Staci, and, in a last minute decision, they decide to call Blake, whose head shot is on file, for the lead male role.
When Kenny finds out from the commercial's producers that
they're going in a different direction, he decides to make the most of his trip to the East Coast, and plans an impromptu detour to Boston, his hometown. The next day, just as he's packed and ready to go, Kenny gets a call from his agent about an back up dancer's audition for Nelly Furtado's upcoming Saturday Night Live performance.
At the audition, Nelly recognizes Kenny from her "Promiscuous Girl" video shoot and even goes as far as to call him over halfway through, just to say hello. It turns out that Kenny made a good impression, and later the casting director calls to tell him he got the gig.
The next day Blake and Staci head to the Gap commercial shoot, where they spend the rest of the day dancing. When it's over, they're happy to find out they get to take home new clothes courtesy of the Gap and make it back to the hotel just in time to catch Kenny on Saturday Night Live. When Kenny arrives in Boston the next day, his family is more than happy to have him back, even if only for a short time. After spending some time with his parents and
brothers, Kenny decides to make a trip out to visit his first dance teacher. When he arrives at the studio, Kenny is greeted by several younger dancers, all of whom now aspire to be as successful as him. After teaching some classes, sadly it is time for him to head back to L.A.
