  1. Ask Nolan about the State he grew up in and he'll tell you straight out, "There ain't no hip-hop in Wyoming, just cowboys and buffalo." So it's more than a little remarkable that he has somehow managed to achieve his dream of becoming a professional dancer. Obsessed with hip-hop from the age of 9, Nolan taught himself to dance watching Janet Jackson videos. At 16 he enrolled in his first dance classes, and after just two years of training he moved to Los Angeles to make it as a professional dancer. Arriving in L.A. with no car, no connections and no money, Nolan had a lot to overcome, but his hard work paid off and he landed a job on the 2003 American Idol's tour with Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard.

The Idol's gig led to other tours, including J.C. Chasez '04 tour and Clay Aiken's Joyful Noise Tour -- which he also helped choreograph. Nolan's video work includes Marc Anthony's "Ahora Quien," Clay Aiken's "Invisible" and Reign's "Dosey-Doe."

Nolan lives in Hollywood. He still doesn't have a car and for the moment he's not giving up his day job at a clothing shop on Melrose. But with his talent, it's a safe bet that he'll be quitting soon.
