In this special presentation of Cribs, we get to check out 50 Cent?s pad from top to bottom. Yup, he?s taking over the whole show because, well, he?s 50 Cent, one of the biggest rappers on the planet.
As the gates open, we get our first glimpse of 50 Cent?s humungous home as the G-Unit crew rolls up on motorcycles spinning wheelies. When 50 Cent lets us into his Connecticut castle, he?s ready to show us the whole house -- all 19 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms!
50 Cent?s foyer is fit for a king, complete with two staircases winding up to the second floor. But we?re not heading up there just yet; there?s plenty to see on the ground floor. 50 Cent walks us straight into the formal dining room, where he admits that he has never, ever eaten at the table before. The $80,000 crystal chandelier sure is pretty, though, and the chairs surrounding the large wood table were actually left behind by the previous owner, Mike Tyson.
While leaving the dining room, 50 Cent points out his most prized possession -- an ornate jar that was handmade by his uncle while in jail. It resembles a piece of Egyptian art with pyramids, a cobra and 50 dressed as a pharaoh. And, of course, it also has the G-Unit logo on it, too.
Next, 50 Cent takes us into his kitchen that has a stacked sound system so he can jam while he cooks. When he opens the refrigerator, it?s full of his fave drink -- 50 Cent VitaminWater. When he opens the oven, it looks brand new, and 50 admits that his crib has six kitchens, so this one has never been used! So that?s how he keeps his kitchen so bling-bling clean.
After a quick wardrobe change, 50 Cent heads into his awards room where he shows off his Moonmen and Grammy awards, among others. And, inside his office, he has tons of photos of himself with celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Eminem, Madonna and -- the biggest celeb of all -- his grandmother.
When we get to his home movie theater, 50 Cent shows off his reclining leather chairs and more than 3,000 movies that he chooses from. This crib is definitely hooked up!
It?s finally time to head on up to the next level, where the rest of the G-Unit crew shows off their rooms. Yup, they?re really just one big family.
Lloyd Banks is the first to take us on a tour of the bedroom he uses when he?s hanging out at 50 Cent?s crib. Lloyd doesn?t have much in his room, just a plant and a girl sleeping in his bed. But he says doesn?t need much since he likes to spend his time in the studio. Next, Tony Yayo shows off his bedroom with a huge window overlooking the pond, pool and waterfall in the backyard. Then it?s off to find DJ Whoo Kid, who?s chilling on his posh white couch and scheming to sell one of 50?s chains on eBay for $200,000.
After the G-Unit crew shows us their digs, it?s off to 50 Cent?s master bedroom, where he?s literally surrounded by entertainment. There?s a spiral staircase, a sitting area and two TVs. And, as if that weren?t enough, the master bathroom also has a TV. Now that?s class!
Now it?s time to move outside and explore 50 Cent?s 17-acre backyard. In order for 50 to get around his huge estate he rolls in a red golf cart. He heads straight to his pool, where he admits that he isn?t the best swimmer. Then it?s off to show off his pond filled with fish and his very own basketball court.
But no Cribs tour would be complete without toys, toys and more toys, as 50 Cent races around his ATV track that winds around the house. But it?s the big toys that really get 50?s blood pumping -- Ferraris, a Trans Am and a Pontiac G6 GXP.
But these toys aren?t the only fun and games to be found in 50 Cent?s stylish crib. Tony Yayo takes over the tour by taking us into a glass elevator that brings us down into the Gucci game room that?s equipped with a custom-made pool table and leather and suede couches
When we meet up with 50 Cent again, he shows us his indoor pool, which is where he works out. Then he heads into his home studio, where he recorded his album Curtis. But before it?s time for us to go, 50 Cent says he saved the best room for last -- his own personal nightclub that comes complete with a DJ booth, a dance floor and a stripper pole and swing!
When the tour comes to an end, 50 Cent sure knows how to make an exit as he leaves his crib in style in a helicopter! He definitely knows how to do it up right.
