When Ricky casually tells Sam that the CollegeHumor site is ending at the end of the day, and then leaves to get a portrait painted...of himself...the rest of the unattended CollegeHumor staff spins into turmoil.
Everyone reacts in their own, very special, very dramatic way. Sam goes into Rambo-mode, crawling under desks and cutting wires. Amir frantically pitches new, but horrible website ideas left and right. Sarah decides to make a touching documentary, and Jake decides that the time has come to get Sarah to sleep with him.
Meanwhile, Patrick begins to daydream about finally making his father proud and getting a job at Pottery Barn. He writes his own self-promoting recommendation, but (no surprise) is turned down for the job.
While fires blaze and laptops are smashed in every hallway and cubicle, Sarah makes it a point to turn down Jake, over and over again. At the clock ticks to the final moments of the day, Jake whips off his pants and flaunts his nude self to the whole office. Unfortunately for Jake, his shining moment is stolen when Ricky returns.
Ricky takes a glance around the office and announces that the site was only supposed to be down for an hour. Now that Sam has cut the wires connecting the whole network, the site will be down for several days.
To end this day from hell, Amir tells Ricky off and slaps him across the face. Sarah gets it all on tape for a perfect documentary ending, but Jake ruins it when, still naked, he steals the camera for one final shot.
