  1. Discovered in 1988 on Star Search, Countess Vaughn was named the nationally broadcast talent show's Junior Vocalist Champion and Overall Junior Champion. That led to a role on the NBC sitcom 227, starring Marla Gibbs and Jackee. But her big break came when she was cast as Kim Parker on the UPN show Moesha. Eventually, Countess' character was spun-off into the hit show The Parkers.

As Kim Parker, Countess played a young woman trying to figure out life while attending college and dealing with her mother (played by Mo'Nique). At one point, The Parkers was the #1 TV show in African-American households in the United States.

In 1992, Countess released her self-titled debut album, featuring dance and R&B tunes. She also starred in the off-Broadway musical Mama, I Want to Sing (Part 2). Additionally, alongside Grammy-nominated producer Rodney Jerkins, she co-wrote and performed the theme song to The Parkers.

We know Countess Vaughn has got the skills, but only time will tell if this 4-foot, 10-inch powerhouse can deliver the goods and become the first Celebrity Rap Superstar.
