Buzzin' › Ep. 105

After Shwayze and Cisco Adler learn they'll be performing at the Wango Tango festival in L.A., they are sent on a whirlwind tour of the country to drum up publicity. Their brutal schedule takes them to a different city every day, and it starts to take its toll on them. Hopping from planes, trains and automobiles to interviews, live shows and TRL leaves them totally tired.

After a radio interview in Portland, Ore., Shwayze accidentally drives a rented Jeep over a ledge while pulling into a gas station to get coffee. The ledge is high enough off the ground that the car gets stuck, leaving the car teetering because the tires aren't hitting pavement. After taking a few pictures, the girl magnets are in luck when some bikini-clad babes drive up and help them pass the time until the tow truck arrives.

When Suretone Records head honcho Jordan Schur gets the bill, he isn't too amused by the automotive mishap. But he understands that Shwayze and Cisco have been pounding the pavement hard. He thinks they need to rest up before the big Wango Tango show -- and rehearse, rehearse, rehearse so they can kill it. He sets them up with a rehearsal space, but the Buzzin' boys have something better in mind: heading to Big Bear Lake for some R&R!

When they arrive at the cabin in the woods, it doesn't take long for Shwayze, Cisco Adler and their entourage to unwind. They shoot some hoops, play ping-pong, golf and do some fishing. But back in Malibu, Jordan Schur and his assistant, David Patton, are baffled as to why the guys canceled the rehearsal space. On a mission, Jordan has new media guru Cat Lake track the gang down by scouring their MySpace page for clues. When he finds out they're in Big Bear, he decides it's time to take a road trip.

While fishing on the lake, Shwayze and Cisco are really enjoying the change of pace ... until the Suretone Records crew shows up! Surprised by the intrusion, Shwayze and Cisco are puzzled about how anyone found them. And it isn't long until their peace and quiet is shattered by the Buzzin' staff that has set up camp in the cabin and the constant ringing of Jordan's cell phone. Shwayze and Cisco's vacay is looking more and more like another day at the office!

Shwayze, Cisco Adler and their tour manager, Warren, try to escape the chaos by going fishing, but Jordan Schur decides to go with them. Out on the lake, the guys are annoyed when Jordan's phone won't stop ringing -- and he won't stop answering it! It seems like Jordan's worried that the boys need to do something big at the end of their Wango Tango set, but the guys just want him to chill out and stop scaring the fish away.

When Jordan has to use the bathroom, Shwayze and Co. take the boat to a posh floating port-o-potty on the lake. But as soon as he steps inside, they take off. When Jordan emerges, he's ticked. But the Buzzin' boys refuse to pick him up until he promises to stop using his cell phone. Jordan finally agrees, and he's allowed back on the boat. Did he really have any other option?!

After a few days of communing with nature, Shwayze and Cisco Adler are ready for Wango Tango. When they step onstage, they rock the screaming crowd of 20,000. And when they get off stage, Jordan Schur surprises them with their names in lights -- on a plane flying overhead! Now they know why Jordan was working so hard on the boat!
