STORY: "Bad News" Ben Lagman was born September 4, 1986 in Warren, Michigan. Like many MMA fighters, Ben was a talented high school athlete but at times misguided youth. With help and encouragement from his mother (also his biggest fan) Ben began to actively pursue his interest in mma by joining Martial Arts Unlimited. Under the auspicious tutelage of such mentors as Chris Malgeri (Martial Arts Unlimited) and James Lee (Mash Fight Team) he became a well rounded fighter with devastating strikes and submissions.



Ben's first amateur fight took place in Muskegon, Michigan February , 2007.
"Walking into the fight I had an awakening and I knew after that fight I would never be the same," said Ben



He then excelled amounting an outstanding amateur record of 15-1. After making his professional debut in San Bernadino, California in 2008, Ben has continued to flourish as a professional fighter with a record of 4-0. His impressive 1st round finishes include 2 knockouts and 2 submissions.



In addition to being a superior fighter Ben spends his time training young aspiring fighters as well referring for King of the Cage and other fights throughout the Midwest.



Ben continues to gain prominence in the world of Mixed Martial Arts and plans to fight in international matches in the coming year. His sound work ethic, tenacious power and his commitment to the sport will most certainly catapult him to a Middleweight Title in the near future.
