Jamie and Stu's 'Rollin' with Saget' video is a top download on the PSP gaming console, so Jamie wonders why they still can't get a record deal. What's the deal? They start feeling that they are not getting any love in LA, so they head to New York.
Once they land in the big apple, Jamie and Stu meet with Russell Simmons. But because they are meeting him at his clothing line Phat Farm, he thinks Jamie and Stu want to be designers. When they explain that they're doing a comedy rap album, it's a no-can-do for Russell who wishes them luck and laces them with some Phat Farm gear.
Next they stop at the Wu-Tang Headquarters to play their song for The RZA. The RZA laughs at the hook because it makes him laugh -- and he's not the laughing type. He offers help saying, "It's bon-bon." Translated, this means that Jamie and Stu can work on their album under an independent label and use the Wu-Tang's studio to record.
In the limo, Jamie and Stu get great news: Warner Brothers has made an offer! After a brief moment of joy, Jamie has second thoughts. The RZA suggested that they go indie, so to Stu's disappointment, Jamie's confused about what to do.
Under the night California sky with lovely tenderonies by his side, Jamie seeks advice from none other than The Doggfather, rapper Snoop Dogg. Snoop shares insight on the pros and cons of independent and major labels. Snoop's final words of wisdom stick in Jamie's head, "When the police are on hot pursuit, what you supposed to do?"
The following day, Jamie reveals his decision: "When you see the po-po comin', what are you gonna do?" Stu answers, "Warn a brother?" Yes! To Stu's delight, Jamie agrees to sign with Warner Brothers. It's celebration time.
At the ROXY, Jamie and Stu's name are in lights on the marquee. Backstage, Jamie surprises Stu with his mother and sister. On the stage, E-40 gets the crowd hype with one of his hits. The surprises aren't over. Stu brings rap pioneer DMC backstage. DMC gives Jamie a RUN DMC-style hat as a show of support.
It's showtime. Jamie and Stu hit the stage and perform. Outside, they are both surprised with a traveling bus from their label. The bus has a huge photo of the two of them in a cool pose. They love it. They're told to get on the bus because they have to go on tour. As the bus pulls off, Stu asks, "Is that it?" Jamie responds, "What do you mean is that it? We just blew up!"
