It's Ashlee's big debut and she is more frazzled than usual as she starts out on her hell weeks of stardom with countless interviews, concerts, and appearances. As she tries to calm her heated nerves in the green room of Jay Leno's Tonight Show, Ash gets some words of wisdom from her pops, who tells her that the whole performance is about confidence: if Ashlee has confidence, she will rock her live set. Ashlee seems a little unsure but pumps herself up, "I'm a confident badass mother----er."
After the less than successful sound check, Ashlee really starts flipping out, wondering if she will be able to go through with the show, and calling Jessica for a little sisterly support. Ashlee's entourage has come to provide moral support and to keep Ash so busy that she won't be able to think about her upcoming performance. When it's finally time for Ashlee to go on, she rocks the stage and puts on a kick ass performance.
All that worrying was for nothing, but before Ashlee can give herself a moment to settle down, she's off with her mom to choose her final album cover. Later Ashlee hits off her radio promotional tour and finds herself a little overwhelmed as she tries to decipher the questions these foreign stations are throwing at her. When Ashlee finishes this off, she says goodnight and wakes up bright and early to appear on the Today Show with Nick.
Later, Ashlee heads off to Regis and Kelly and continues her radio tour with a two-hour round of interview questions. All this pumpin' for her place on the charts has left Ashlee exhausted, and even a little in-studio pampering can't make this girl relax. Ashlee is soon back on the road and off to the Memphis, Tennessee Target House where she gives an awesome performance for children with suppressed immune systems. Ashlee loves the kids and is grateful to them for helping her to put everything into perspective.
When this is finished, Ashlee is back on a plane to NYC to kick off her MTV TRL debut with Puff Daddy and Jay-Z. Ash really feels like a star when Puffy asks for her autograph, but goes in a little over her head when she decides to sing "99 Problems" to Jay-Z. Ashlee is a star on TRL and the audience goes wild for her.
Then Ashlee heads down to Virgin Megastore for a meet and greet where it is obvious that her fans have already grown to love her. The fans have been waiting for up to eight hours and scream, shout, and cry when it's their turn to meet Ms. Simpson. Ashlee hops on a plane back to L.A. where she is set to meet fans in a Tower Records. Here the screaming is even louder than in New York, and Ashlee is thrilled with her turnout.
Finally the touring is over and Ashlee heads home to her studio base where her whole team comes out to congratulate her. The studio presents her with a platinum record in recognition of the platinum standing of Autobiography, which has sold over one million copies. After the festivities, Ashlee has one last stop in Minneapolis at the Mall of America where Ash rocks the crowd with "Pieces of Me" as flashbacks of her success story roll by.
