About Episode

  1. The remaining contestants wake up to a nice little "family breakfast," complete with mimosas and bloody marys. They toast each other, as the elite few who still have a Double Shot At Love. Trevor, however, takes note of how affectionate Josh and Rosie are being and figures it's only a matter of time before the fact that they've hooked up comes out.

The group then receives a note from the twins, informing the contestants that they've made a mess of the house and it's time to clean up their act. Scott, Josh and Rosemarie will clean the house, while Trevor, Xoe and Rebekah spiffy up the cabin for a future date. Rosemarie quickly gets frustrated by the fact that she and Josh continually have to tell Scott what to do. Meanwhile, Trevor, Xoe and Rebekah are stuck moving hay bales and even chasing out mice from the cabin.

Finished with the task at hand, Josh and Rosemarie steal some alone time where Josh asks her to take A Shot At Love with him. She admits that the whole house has her "trippin'" and she doesn't know what to think. However, the moment is interrupted when the rest of the contestants return from cleaning the cabin.

Yet another message in a bottle arrives, instructing the group to meet the twins in the elimination room. While no one is getting eliminated just yet, the twins realize they have a very crucial decision to make this week. Because the contestants spend so much time with each other, the twins want to hear who they think should win. One at a time, each contestant will be called up to learn whether the others think the twins should cut them or keep them and why.

First on the chopping block is Trevor. The twins notice right away that the contestants aren't saying anything bad about each other. After Xoe hears nothing but nice things from the others, Rikki and Vikki accuse the group of being more concerned with making friends than falling in love. The lecture works and people are more than happy to critique Scott and Rebekah when they go.

When it's Josh's turn, Trevor decides it's time to be honest with the twins about Josh and Rosie hooking up. Josh denies anything but cuddling, although he changes his story when Rosemarie admits there was a little kiss with no tongue. Scott also confesses that he heard someone making out that same night but he had no way of knowing who. Rosemarie is called up next and, when forced to look the twins in the eye, admits that there was a drunken makeout session but it's been blown way out of proportion. Rikki and Vikki thank Rosemarie for being honest and again, ask Josh if he's still sticking to his story that there was no tongue. Backed into a corner, Josh swears on the life of his unborn children that there was no tongue. He then changes his story to claim that his tongue was never in Rosemarie's mouth and that Rosemarie's been following him around, making moves on him. Fed up with Josh's changing stories, the twins end the session.

The girls point out that they know the task is tough, but it's nothing compared to what they have to do every week at elimination. They decide to give the contestants one more shot at being honest. Each contestant is handed a knife, which they must stab into a cardboard cutout of the person they think should go home. Trevor, Rosemarie and Scott all stab Josh without hesitation, stating his obvious lying as the reason. Xoe, however, stuns everyone when she drops her knife and says who the twins choose is up to them but she forfeits -- even if it means she'll be eliminated for it.

When it's Josh's turn though, he manages to make everyone forget about what Xoe did by confessing that he cares more about Rosemarie than he does about the twins. He admits that there's been way more than one kiss and urges Rosie to be honest about their relationship. It's clear on Rosemarie's face that she has no idea what he's talking about and the twins tell him it's time to leave...immediately. When Josh tries to explain himself to the others, the twins physically remove him and slam the door in his face.

But the drama isn't over. When Rikki and Vikki bring Josh's suitcase out to them, he claims that his confession was a lie because he was scared that he was going to get eliminated anyway. Even though Vikki had at one point wanted Josh to stay, both girls are way past believing his lies and tell him to get off their property as quickly as possible.

Back in the house, Rosie has her chance to talk with Rikki and Vikki about everything that's happened. Rosemarie insists that she had no idea Josh was going to do any of that and that she really wants to be with Rikki or Vikki, not him. Vikki's not sure she'll ever be able to fall for Rosemarie after this, but appreciates her honesty and knows Rikki really likes her. The three return to the bedroom to talk with the other contestants about what happened and how relieved they are to know the truth about Josh.

In fact, the twins are so relieved that they've decided to skip the formal dates and just hang out with everyone for the evening. The final five enjoy a casual seafood dinner with Rikki and Vikki, with the conversation turning towards the home visits that will happen the following week. Once again, the subject of Xoe's Christian father is brought up. Vikki is certain that she could change his homophobic views, but Xoe still thinks he'd end up disappointed in her.

The next morning, everyone is exhausted and hung over so Xoe decides a game of dress-up is in order. Namely, dressing Scottie and Trevor up as women. Because they were such good sports, the girls agree to let Scott and Trevor dress them like men. After they dress Rosemarie up as a Josh doppelganger, she pulls out the poems Josh allegedly wrote for the twins and treats everyone to a dramatic reading.

Done with their dress-up game, the group finds a message from the twins instructing them to head to the living room to see how strong their "appetite for love" is. They arrive to a finely set table, where Rikki and Vikki inform them they'll be dining on a lovely three-course feast: five chicken hearts (representing the five contestants left), two lamb brains (representing the twins) and a "whole lot of guts" (representing what they'll need to make it through the challenge). The first person to lick their plate clean will win a special one-on-one date with the twins before the evening's elimination.

When the plates are revealed, several contestants begin gagging. To make things a little more even, the twins at least taste all of the organs they're making the would-be suitors devour. Scott seems to be the only man with a plan, cutting up all of his food into tiny pieces and scooping it into his mouth. Scott locks in the win when everyone else begins puking as he's licking his plate clean.

Scott knows just how important this date is, as he has already established a connection with Rikki, but must woo Vikki as well if he wants to stay in the competition. As they talk about meeting his family, Rikki begins to really see Scott as boyfriend material and they go off to talk on their own for a while so she can tell him so. They're enjoying a steamy make out session, until Vikki complains that she's bored. Being a fair and honorable gentleman, Scott spends some alone time with Vikki, where they test out their compatibility with a steamy kiss of their own. It's all going nice...until Scott gets a little too heated and Vikki has to slow him down with a drink. Still, Scott manages to impress both of the twins.

With the date finished, it's time for the twins to decide who should go home. They disagree when it comes to Rosemarie. While Vikki feels no connection to her and thinks it's wrong she kissed a guy when she's supposed to be there for a girl, Rikki does have feelings for her and thinks she deserves a second chance. Likewise, Vikki feels a strong connection with Xoe but Rikki thinks Vikki is fooling herself and that Xoe doesn't have feelings for either of them. Vikki worries that her sister is playing on her insecurities, but Rikki points out that Xoe is the only contestant that's not excited about the idea of the twins meeting her family.

The decisions have been made and everyone gathers in the elimination room for the results. Not surprisingly, Scott receives the first key, followed by Trevor. With only two keys left and three girls, Rebekah is given the first key. Rikki tells Xoe that she will be the one going home, but Vikki reveals that she's not happy about it and won't allow Rikki to get her way anymore.
