Conan O'Brien? not sure about that, but he's moving to Cabel tv isn't he? and Gene Simmons would be an excellent choice. It has to be someone who has been in the business for so long so Gene is a great choice.

no one can replace Simon.... its always SIMON SAYS that matters..... what is he thinking anyway.. leaving AI would result into a real disaster.

GENE SIMMONS!!!GENE SIMMONS!!!GENE SIMMONS!!! I really think he would be an amazing replacement. I love Simon. but if he really leaves Idol. GENE SIMMONS all the way!

I really think that no one can replace Simon, but Gene Simmons might be okay. My choice of judges for next year would be: Keep Randy Jackson. Get Bette Midler to replace Kara (she would be wild). Have a different musical artist as a guest judge every week. As for Simon, what about your own Jim Cantiello?
