Woman of the Year: Lady Gaga. For an artist who didn't release an album of new material this calendar year, Lady Gaga certainly had the world on a string. Her massively successful Monster Ball World Tour, her vocal stand against "don't ask, don't tell," her outlandishly memorable fashion choices and her multiple wins at the Grammys, VMAs, AMAs and almost every other awards show under the sun this year certainly reinforced the idea that it's Lady Gaga's world and we're just living in it.
