call me a twit if you wish, but if the producers say it is a Romulan Warbird that's what it is. also if you have read, as you imply, the comic you would know exactly how a pre Geordi Warbird might resemble something he prototyped later in time.

This is not a romulan warbird, but instead the Jellyfish prototype designed by Geordi La Forge. See our page on that shipclass (in swedish only, sorry). Information gathered from the Countdown comic book, which is considered canon.
