Has everyone missed every Lady Gaga performance to date? She is the queen of vulgar behavior including hanging herself on stage, making out with both men and women, I could go on forever! Adam was awesome! He's very talented and just did what women have been doing since the 60's; Showing true raw sexuality. If you watch TV, movies, advertisements woman on woman actions of ALL kinds have been out their for YEARS and now people are getting upset over Adam?! Close minded-discrimination-double standard are just a few words that come to mind.
Zcatz6 you missed it. The other performers were crotch grabbing all night as well as their dancers. Two of the women artists simulated oral sex with their dancers. One female artist simulated sodomy with her dancers. Two female artists wore S&M catsuits to perform their numbers. One male artist crotched grabbed while he sang about 17 rapes his alias had committed. One female artist sang about playing with a gun and shooting herself with it while her dancers carried riffles. One female appeared naked covered in oil and girated her pelvis on an operating table, her catsuit had her boobs showing the bottom of her cups. One female artist had her dancers sandwich her and slap her *ss during a number where they did pelvic thrusts for 3 minutes at the camera. It was just one thing after another. But all anyone talks about is Lambert's ending performance.
If he wanted to do gay thing, he could've done it better, not so vulgar. He is going to make it far because now all the gays will love him for this. TV has just gotten so out of control, its all about sex. I know sex and music go together, but there are young people watching and it is sick how most of the things that they learn they learn it on TV. If viewers are not paying for it, it should be kept rated PG.
To be honest, I don't think THIS is what everyone has such issues with, but media and Lambert and Lambert supporters do not want to deny that and claim everyone is just a homophobe. I love Lambert as a singer, that performance was just poor judgment and I think it's going to hurt him. He wasn't on MTV (who do not seem to care if their acts are tasteless anymore).. he was on free cable.
